How long does it take for you to get an egg from the asteroid?

@whitewerewolves Getting an egg from the asteroid has a very, very small chance and is completely random. You could get one tomorrow or never get one for a year. It's all random chance.

I've been on Egg Cave for almost a year now (my profile lies! b/c I left Egg Cave for quite a while) and I haven't gotten a single Asteroid egg. I check every day.
Then again, I heard there was someone who got one their first day...

It's just like a Mo but even rarer. Some people only get one every few months. My friend got one on her second trip to the cave. I got mine during my first week on Eggcave.
