I wanna know what you think of this poem? :D

For English class, for extra credit (which I could use), we need to make a concrete poem with a minimum of 150 words.

I wrote the poem while I was at English, and I'm drawing it onto a picture of a wolf. Because concrete poem= poem that is written in the shape of an object or picture.

So here's my poem;

The ground trembles
As night creatures awake;
Owls, bats, and even snakes.
And on her own, in this dark night,
A lone wolf's fur shimmers in the moonlight.
With a mask of white and a robe of gray,
She hunts at night for the coming of day.
Sniffing out the faintest scents
Of fallen trees and camping tents
A mice that scurries on the ground
Can leave behind a stronger sound.
There is no fear in the wolf's eyes
But underneath her thick disquise
Her world is empty.
The sharpened claws on her dark paws
Bring a haze on her past days.
For there is no depriving,
There is only surviving,
And when the world is left scowling,
The wolf will be howling.
It's getting late as the wolf sneaks home
To rest and wait for the day she'll roam.
The stars are fading as the moon subsides,
And the night creatures sleep
While the night time hides.

@Dawnfur Poetry is our unit in English right now. ;P So far the poetry styles we were required to do are crap. Like, one word on each line and not making any sense. They slab it together and call it poetry.

And then I saw the extra credit for a concrete poem; And I was like, "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!" ;D

@Dawnfur I refuse to do a lot of work. Except for poetry. X3 Especially social studies. Social studies sucks really bad.

@Dawnfur I hate that. -.- I get really shy with my work. And if I refuse to read my poem/essay/whatever oout loud, I lose like, half of the credit. >-< They're so inconsiderate!

I don't have a problem with any of my teachers, just the gosh dang SUBSTITUTES.

There are these two substitutes that have such a heavy accent that I can't hear them at all.
There's this one sub who has an extremely loud voice.
And there's another sub I have very frequently. She NEVER stops smiling, which urks me. Seriously, NO ONE can be that happy. And whenever I have her she never lets us talk and she always stares at me with that creepy smile on her her face for the entire 55 minute period.
I HATE ITTTTTTT.
She's clueless. One time she gave us this huge packet for homework at math, and then the next day our real math teacher came back and he was compalining about how big of an idiot the sub was to do that.
I win. X3

@Dreamer I have a sub that makes you stand in the corner if you talk too much. He likes me though. x) He hates Jacob, and he made him count the brick thingies on the wall(:
