Moonshine woke up under roots of a tree near the river to RiverClan, but things were wrong. The river was lower than usawul, the grass was brown, and the tempature was crazy! She felt like she was melting. Moonshine crawled into the shade. Since she fell asleep here, she ended up in the sun, causing her to get a high fever."Oh, this is great! JUST WONDERFUL!!!" Moonshine said, irritated.@mewlynnmagicUm, what should we do, since 1 he is alone, and 2 lskam is not on...

Moonshine weakly walked to the now shallow river-like pool. She lapped up a few bits of water, making sure it was enough. She barely mad it back to her shade. 'Ugh, this is not good. Not only do i have a fever, but the clan has no medicine cat right now! Kits can't handle this weather! Their tiny bodies NEED water, more than grown cats. AND what about those cranky elders......' Moonshine sighed.@mewlynnmagic

@fireyeggsfavored~Wingtail, using her little medical-cat experiences, soaked a big patch of moss into the biggest pond she could find, and gave it to the kits. The only kit that didn't get water was Grasskit. He was wailing. His ribs were poking out of his little body, and there was no more water.....~

@mewlynnmagic A wave of heat shook Cloverecho from her dreams. She lifted herself slowly, reluctantly leaving her cool cave. It was still blisering hot. She hated it. Sleep was still fresh on her, but it was worse with the blistering sun. Her ears pricked.. A seed of worry was planted. the elders needed water and FAST!She quickly searched for any bit of moss to retain water from the stream. She found a nice lump and she headed out to the nearby stream. For once, she enjoyed stepping in it, letting the coldness block the heat. She carried the moss back giving it to the elders panting at the same time.

Wingtail jumped up when she heard a high-pitched scream and a cry. Wingtail dashed into camp, and found a tiny little body. Dawnsky was wailing.~"My kit! My kit has died!" Dawnsky wailed. Her kit. HER kit. She was furious with StarClan. She was furious with her mate. She was FURIOUS at ThunderClan. Dawnsky turned to Wingtail; "YOU! YOU KILLED MY KIT!" Dawnsky tackled Wingtail and scraped her throat. "Dawnsky! No!" Wingtail screamed.~

Amberwing, a tortishell purred with pleasure as if it were a cool day."The heat feels good to me, young kit," she said with humor," a shame it'll take you seasons to see why." Another elder, a skinny tom with long sticky legs gave Amberwing a disgusted look," this heat will kill our clan." Cloverecho decided to stay no longer, her dawdling wasted precious time. She carried the moss back to the stream making sure she had enough. Trotting back carefully, her paws were burning from the heated ground."why starclan why?"The rest of the clan was busy; some making more shade, others gathering water and some becoming overheated, forcing them to take shade.

"STOP DAWNSKY! STOP THIS INSTANT!" A vioce sounded from behind the cats. Moonshine had slowly drug herself to camp,"It's my fault for leaving last night and not returning sooner, don't blame it on the first cat you see." Moonshine's vioce was harsh and eyes were cold." She did her best, but didnt make it before the water was gone. RiverClan's river is dead too." Moonshine picked up the kits body and put it into her den." Go take care of your own kits, that are alive, for now." Moonshine's eyes looked distant.@mewlynnmagic@taunter

Moonshine lapped up the water from the moss slowly, but started going delerious. The den started spinning and time seemed to go in reverse, she could only stop herself from doing something stupid by lying on the floor motionless.@mewlynnmagic Got to go in 10 mins >.<@taunter your cat is helpful >0<

@fireyeggsfavored NOOOO!Cloverecho was panting, the heat crawled around her, making it seem impossible to breath. Her breaths were quick and short, her fur puffed up and brittle looking. The water duties, saved her from the heat.
