The blade cut through her shirt sleeve and made a small gash. The girl turned and ran as Sylvia paused and turned towards Joseph. "Hi 😊", she said cheerfully as if nothing happened.

"Hold still." Kiara told the girl. She was bleeding. She tried to feel the water in the girl's body. Maybe she could heal her. She tried to focus on closing the wound, but nothing was happening. The girl passed out and she began to panic.

Why couldn't she do anything right?

Finally, after a few tries, she closed the wound, leaving the girl under a tree to recover. She was worried. Who could have done that?

Dusk was arriving and she could already see birds fluttering to their makeshift nests to get some sleep. The last of the orange and yellow disappeared below the horizon before Sylvia said, "Maybe you should come over to my home sometime."

Kiara glanced over at the girl she had healed. She hoped that whoever was talking over there wasn't the one who had injured her. If they saw her under the tree, they would know someone healed her.

While waiting for Joseph to respond to her explanation, a slight movement caught the corner of her eyes. She crossed her arms in what seemed to be an careless action. Her eyes flickered to her right and she saw a girl nearby, behind herself. She pulled a long serated knife hidden under her clothes out of it's sheath. As stealthy as an cheetah, and quick as a cobra, she stepped backwards and pulled another aerated knife from her waist. She was now face to face with the girl, and armed.

Kiara fell back. She looked around wildly for any water, but could only find a small puddle. it would have to do.

She formed the water into a small ice needle and shot it at the girl. It wasn't going to be good enough.

The watery needle was intercepted by one of Sylvia's knives. The girl had powers.. [I'd better get rid of her before she joins the Avengers.], Sylvia thought. "You want to play with ice? So be it.", Sylvia said as she dropped the blades with loud flatters onto the shadowy pavement. She dropped her arms to her sides, then lifted them slightly and her signature black ice shards shot from the pavement, creating a jagged pathway of sharp ice that ran straight towards the girl. This all happened quick as a few blinks of an eye.

Kiara had no time to think. She liquified the ice and used as much of it as she could wrench from the other girl's control (which was not much) to push herself up into the air. She grabbed onto a tree branch and pulled herself up.

Her power is water but she can make water turn to ice. And she can make ice turn to water which only fire can do... xD and she managed to push herself in the air somewhere in between o.o

@bunnyshadow water turns to ice when the molecules slow down enough and vice versa when they speed up, so it is feasable that she could do that. To get up into the tree, she just pushed against the water.

The other girl was much stronger than she was. She backed up slowly, looking for somewhere to run.

"I'm not with them. Please..." she said. She looked back. Dead end. "HELP!" she yelled.
