Jewaleh : Pronounced Jee - Wah - Leh

Description:
Jewaleh eggs are well protected by what looks like beautifully colored feathers. The feathers are actually sharp spikes that protect it, but also provide warmth. A small jewel or gem is in this egg.

Jewaleh's are rather interesting creatures, and are rare due to the fact they are hunted for one of it's back legs. The spikes on it's head are used to protect it's head from harm, as well as the sharp pointed ears. They are known for having a dragon-like hind foot with a gem in it. That dragon-foot have been heard of in legends and myths to cause luck to the owner, longer life-span and a rich life. But they are nearly extinct because that jewel is actually their heart which keeps them alive, and once removed they will immediately die. Therefor, a law has been passed that Jewaleh's are not allowed to be hunted and killed. If caught, they will automatically be arrested.
