Animalia Humanae planning board (very literate roleplay)

Hello there! I'm April in case you don't know.

@shadowheart3 and @xstephaanie and I run this roleplay on a different site but decided to bring a version over to EggCave!

Animalia Humanae is based off of a book series called 'the Animorphs' though it has a lot of different factors.

It's about a group of teenagers that can morph into any animal they can touch.

We aren't just allowing any one to join, and we do have quite a few rules.

1. Literacy is a must.
2. Posts can not be shorter than seven sentences. (This is a lot easier than it sounds.)
3. Your character must be at least 16.
4. No Mary Sues. If you're unsure of the definition, send me a message. But in short summary, this means no overly tragic pasts, perfect characters and ect.
5. No more than four morphs to start. (One flying, one small, one large and one pet) After awhile in the roleplay, if you want an additional morph, you can message me and see about that.

If you are interested in joining, please send me a message. This will be a private roleplay once it starts and won't be open to members after that.

Perhaps we should explain it quickly.

"The roleplay follows a group of teenagers with the ability to morph into any animal they touch. It's their job to save the world from the invading parasites, (a disgusting slug that enters a human brain to take control of the human) and they work together with some ally Draskar. Draskar are half lion, half horse like creatures with a killing blade on the end of their tail. They can come in multiple colours and have the ability to morph into anything they touch as well. It's from the Draskar that the small group of teenagers got their ability."

Do you think if I add that for a short summary it covers enough or anything else to add?

And what type of thing do you have in mind?

Well, yay then!

The only thing I don't like about the forums is the character limit. Often when roleplaying I have to jump over to my side to finish my post. XD SInce you can't double post on here.

Other than that, they're great. 😃

And I think we may have one potential new person to our roleplay over here! =D

But it wasn't from the Draskars themselves they got the morphing ability... it was from their technology, no?

Exactly how literate do you expect us to be? On certain website people's idea of literate greatly varies.

Yes. That's true. I just wanted to simplify it. XD If people do end up joining, they'll probably need to read the full plot.

We expect full literacy when in character. No 'lol' or smilies and such. Grammar and spelling, all that fun stuff.

We don't expect for literacy, for everyone to be writing a Stephen King novel. One about how the exact hue, temperature, & etc of every blade of grass or the name of every twinkling star.
Not anything like that, proper sentence structure, lengthy posts, and few mistakes is what we are looking for.

Literacy to the point where you want to know more, not just a bunch of words thrown together in a dead post.

Hmm, maybe after we start the roleplay we should open a separate board for chat among us roleplayers or we should keep this one. So we don't hav echat and roleplay in the same forum as it's harder to organize RP's on EC.

DO you think this would make it more organized or confusing?

No worries there. It's not a roleplay about the series. It's a roleplay that's borrowed parts of the plot from the series. Different characters and ect.

We are requiring a roleplay sample from anyone joining though which you could pm to myself or @xstephaanie since I am sending her all the ones I get any ways.

We don't want to make anyone feel left out but we are a group of people that are seeking other roleplayers that have experience and are fairly advanced.
