Year 1802, March 2nd, 7:49 AM.

The usual night mist, that tended to spread along the streets of the city, now began to thin out, penetrated by the small sunrays of the deminishing twilight. It was simply magnificent to watch the sunrise, everybody could agree to that. Puffy, pink-tinded clouds rose up in the sky as the faint twinkle of vanishing stars mixed with that tender lavender colour that was the sky. Red streaked the horizon and the streets were now fuly illuminated by the merry morning sun.

A loud bell, undoubtedly that of Big Ben's echoed over the morning haze that was London city.

The buzz of the new day always began with the first newspaper boy, that trotted out into the street and loudly beckoned everybody to wake with his anticipated yells.
"Here hee! Here hee!!! New shocking news! New shocking news! Come and find out, buy your newspapers! Just five pence a newspaper! Here hee! Here hee!!!"

The newspaper boy, Janney, 'best in his job' as he often praised himself, worked as a human swiss clock. Every morning, with the first beat of Big Ben, he was already waving his stack of newspapers around, yelling and knocking on every door, until the last person in London was awake.

Soon, mere minutes later, a good half of the citizens were out into the street, hurrying for work or school, buying their breakfast and newspaper in mid run.

Every once in a while a loud 'ohh'ing or 'ahh'ing would be heard. The citizens' attention was centered on the shocking news of the day. A tragedy, a terrible tragedy...

Christina Clemons, a gem in the movie industry, a famous film star and the most beautiful woman ever on screen was reported found dead in her own bed. The wide and well-detailed story on the first page of 'London Times' had already caused panic among the people and a good number of them were already gathered in front of the office of Charlie Wellsh, Charistina's manager, demanding for an explanation, yelling and pounding on the door or simply crying their eyes out.

Yes, it was true tragedy. The young star, loved by all, had been a generous lady, althought flirtatious at times. Reports stated that the murder was being investigated by the best detectives there is. Witnesses and detectives, police, even the normal people of London city were on the track of the famous killer 'Sly Fox' who was labeled the undoubtable killer in this situation.
Forms and rules finally next!
@jupiter_hollow made this plot so she takes credit for all this 😊

Any other pings?

A lack of knoledge, though, made the work harder. No records were ever found on the person behind the pseudonym 'Sly fox'. The person wa unknown, unheard of... until recently.

Despite the female population wearing skirts and frilly dresses, she sticks firmly to pants and vests. Smoking is another 'oldfashioned' oddicity that she posesses.

Not even one single soul was in sight...

Believe it or not, it was a rare thing in London city. The roof of the school probably wasn't the quietest place (truth be told, it became extremely loud by noon) but she found plesure in simply laying there, on the shingles and carelessly looking at the sky, hands crossed behind her head, cigarette sticking between her lips as she muted out the sleepy voices of the people below. It was an early morning and the first teachers and students arrived not long after she'd sneaked into the building. The red and pink and lavender tints in the sky had disappeared, replaced by sleepy sunrays. A crowd of late workers trickled down the street, beginning their monotone day in their gray offices.

Well... life in London couldn't be called monotone with all the new ganster deal in town and the murder of that pretty girl Christina Clemons, but she couldn't really care less. She gladly left the job to the detectives and policemen while she lay on the roof in that particularly warm March morning.

Brendon pushed open the old broom door of his home. It was placed deep in London hidden from view. With a sigh he yanked and stepped out. The warm air of spring hit him immedialy and he glared at the alley he lived in. It was quite a dump to be honest. Drunken homeless people hovered all around and it was hard to ignore them. Brendon picked up a bag of coins before heading off for some sort of deal with the little amount of money he had. Having heard of the death of that actress but his family didn't venture out much so he didn't have any reason to feel sorrow.

Staring out into the sleepy morning were an enormous pair of purple eyes. Soft features breathed steam on the windows, and the petite girl turned away, padding quietly into the kitchen. Wearing an extremely puffy pink dress, she was adorable but uncomfortable. She snuck into her older brothers room (he was asleep) and stealthily paced to his wardrobes. She went straight for the third on the right, where he kept the clothes that were too small for him, and pulled out a suit, slightly mafia looking, probably why he was never allowed to wear it... She also stole a top hat off of a rack and a black cloak.

Eagerly pulling off the uncomforable dress, she changed into his suit. She pulled the slightly too big top hat onto her head and wrapped the cloak snugly around her. Father was at work, so she could just walk straight out. On the busy street, she smiled. Time to go play.

Inky, yet rosy, the ray of first morning trickled in through the lopsided curtain. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Vex sat upright in his warm bed. The toasty blankets beconed for him to tumble back into his dreams; however work was to be done. Wood panels creaking under his rather clumsy footing, Vex stode toward the staircase. With much abondonment, he slid down the freshly polished banister.

'Master Vex!' cried the woman, whose apron was tied a bit too tight. 'How dare you slid down the stairs. If your mother and father were here, what would they say, child?' Her voice scolded, a tone deeper than the bark of an angry dog. Hiking up the ill fitting blouse, the maid continued her polishing.
--
The wail of a siern rustled Vex from his sleep. A draft penetrated his warn wool blanket. Images from his dream dizzily danced in his head. Money, he had not come from. These days, he dreams focused on a life he did not own. He wondered if it in any way reflected his collgue, Katia's life.

I'll play Jansey, the newspaper boy, is that alright? XD

The still not completely risen sun was the perfect cover for a thief, he was sure of that. A simple flick of his wrist and he now owned a fifteen carat golden watch. A wide grin tugged on the young boy's lips as he scrambled away from the fat old man, who's watch he'd just stolen. He ran down the street, laughing happily and headed towards the west side of the city. He was eager to show Guillotine his new watch.

Aizel grunted, rolling over on the shingles and covered her eyes from the bright rays of the sun. All those silly yells and cheery voices from below irked her to no end and she knew it was time to dart off to her old run down apartment again.

She stood up, throwing one last death glare to the sun and walked off to the edge of the roof where a large ladder was placed. It wasn't exacly safe to use it as she was aware of the sharp edged ence below, but she didn't pay a thought to it. She always recalled the tragic Billie Honk incident with the fence and ladder but the blood had been dried a long time ago so it wasn't a bother for her. Jumping from the second to last step of the ladder and onto the ground, she trotted out into the srteet, inhalig the fresh air of London city.
