Now... Because of shoutbox we really cant make anymore chit-chat topics to talk to your freinds. It sounds like a stupid reason to be angry but its really P****** me off! Anyone else agree??

I don't agree.

I think it would spam up the forums if multiple users made boards just to 'chat.'

Having one makes sense to me.

Well not to me. I mean yeah it would be fine to have one board but then if the topic is completely diffrent i dont agree for it to happen.

I kind of agree, because honestly, I don't think the shoutbox thread has very consistent conversations. Individual threads are more direct.

I don't think so. The Shoutbox is just a random chatbox for the most random things.
We can have individual topics - but if you can't discuss about them. You can just post it in the Shoutbox :/

I understand your concern regarding the Shoutbox and why its existence might be confusing to some people.

I pinned the Shoutbox to avoid the further creation of "random chat threads" and to give people a convenient place to share links/thoughts about things that don't require their own topic.

Your topic had been locked for being a party thread. As @zac had pointed out, these types of topics are looked down upon and can be seen as spam. There was no "topic" to even discuss in your thread. Having a ton of individual "random chat threads" does not make too much sense.

The Shoutbox is by no means hindering your ability to create topics with a main focus point to discuss in the Chit-Chat forum. If you wish to have a random discussion with friends, feel free to ping people in The Shoutbox.
