Blog/Pings/Notifications/Park!

I don't know if these have ever been suggested befor but...

What if we could ping each other in the blog? Just a little notification saying something like:
Your name has been mentioned in the New Monthlies topic in the blog.
Or something like that. And I am always missing out on news in the blog, So what if we had a little notification that everyone revived everytime a new blog topic is created? Like:
There is new news in the blog! Check it out now!

And the word "blog" is URL linked to the new blog topic.

I have one more thing although I doubt it would get made..
From what I have been seeing lots of people are quitting because the site is slowing down and gettig boring, we need something to draw new people in and help the old people stay. All the updates Ian has been making are AMAZING, but after a little while people over look them and don't care. We need something a little more...fun.

I know this would be hard to code but what if we had a little park where we can take our pets and train them kind of like sims or something where our pets kinda come alive and we can play with them, train them, and maybe level them up a little faster! We can take one pet to the park at once, that pet is our avatar. We can play with other peoples creatures, feed other creatures, etc.
And maybe have a little chat box or something where we can chat with other people in the park with instant messaging.

And last please expand the 1500 character limit on the forums and PMs to let's say 3000? That's about how long my RP posts are, but I have to shorten them to fit into one post.

I agree with your first two, and last, but the third, no. Many people have suggested it and it has been shot down. It would make lower stage rares worth a lot less.

With the 3rd one, No. If Ian made that it would have to cost like 3-5k CC because if I wanted an Onny that I had to be egg. That would be way too simple and one of the many points of eggcave is having desires and wishes that you aim to get, they can't just come to you like BANG!

And, the rarity would go up (less rare) and the people that actually froze their Onny eggs at the right time would be pissed off and maybe quit because their hard work would be gone to waste.
