I'll try to post, but someone else should seriously do something that'll make everything fall. Frost can't do everything or she'll turn too perfect. Humans are flawed. People who've seen disturbing things are flawed. Stuff has to be flawed. XD

Not necessarily.
Not all rafters are in triangle roofs. Our basement has rafters and it is definitely a square... or rectangle... *checks* Rectangle.

I'm sure they serve some structural purpose. Mostly we hang stuff from there. Like bike helmets. And nerf gun targets. Also my monkey brother likes to swing from them.

I want laser eye surgery. c: I'm sick and tired of wearing glasses. It's a safe and effective procedure, but you do have to wait until your eyes stop developing.

Rafters serve the structural purpose of reinforcement. If a roof is deemed weak or there's threat of a cave-in, rafters can be built to support additional weight or pressure. Dada's basement rafters are probably there to support the basement roof from collapsing in case of an earthquake or other disaster.

That being said, rafters on the ceilings of a 99-story high-rise are extremely unlikely. Reinforcement would be implemented in the space between the floors, where they run the insulation and ventilation.

@skylark Pretty simple 😋 He cleans them occasionally, when the experiments are out for lunch and so on. And also clears up a cell when one of the experiments.... passes >> and prepares it for the next experiment to occupy it - clean the blood, set a new bed sheet... >>
