I'm kind of drawing inspiration from the Caleb/Tris relationship for Aykay and Ethan. Not like how she rages at him, but sort of like an awkward connection like they don't really know how to interact anymore.

I know, right? I was reading Allegiant and it was like a lightbulb moment. It works so well. Except I didn't want her to just outright hate him. More like she knows he's a good person, but she thinks he's an idiot for not realizing that Loki is a baddy.

I guess what I mean is Tris was angry at Caleb directly, whereas Aykay is just frustrated with how stubbornly loyal he is to Loki, but she can't bring herself to actually be mad at /him/, as much as she will sometimes act like she is. It's kind of borderline pity/anger.
