I love writing inner dialogue and I love developing characters. Add those things together and you get Aykay. Lol. And Ethan to a slightly lesser degree. Maybe Kita too. I dunno. Kita's character is not really cemented yet.

The news here is making a big deal about the fact that for a few hours, Canada was in first and apparently that has never happened in Olympic history even for that long. Lol.

Honestly, everyone here is just waiting for the men's and women's hockey finals.

But as soon as the winter games come, we have these to look forward to:

They have a new design every Winter Olympics I think, but a lot of stores sell them and they're SUPER popular. And warm, apparently. Also, Team Canada jerseys.

It was nuts last time with the Olympics being held in Vancouver. There was merch in basically every store here.

Hockey is a big deal here. Lol.
What team you cheer for is also a big deal. (NHL-wise) I've seen some pretty loud arguments over favourite team picks. XD
You should hear some of my guy friends argue sometimes... They take it waaaaaaaay too seriously. My one friend got tackled for dissing my other friend's favourite team. It was hilarious.

Edit: there have also occasionally been riots over Results of NHL final games. Not very often, but it's happened a few times in my lifetime. Lol.

Hahaha maybe. We may be pretty chill people, but put us in a hockey rink, and it just brings out the beast in us. XD

I'm not big into hockey, except during the Olympics. And even then, only during the finals.

Everyone else during a normal hockey game: GO GO GO!!!!!!!! GET THE PUCK!!!!! THE PUCK!!!!!! YEAH!!!! GOAL!!!!!!!!! *sound of assorted noisemakers*

Me during a normal hockey game: *buzzer goes off and first period ends* ZAMBONI!!!! ZAMBONI!!!! ZAMBONI!!!! ZAMBONI!!!!
