The small camp rested on the cliff to look out over the dark lands they were once fighting for. Their leader was still down there, fighting a bloody battle. He suffered a swift blow to the knee and went down. The camp grimaced as an ogre gripped a thorny spear and thrust it down into their leader's chest. Tears formed in their eyes as they saw their leader laying there, his face bloodied and blank. Something had to be done, this land could not be lost. Will you fight with the dark hordes, or will you aid the members of the camp in the battle for their land.

Amdis wiped a mixture of blood and sweat from his brow and pulled out a handkerchief. He then found a nice log to sit on and began to clean his sword.

Amdis put away his handkerchief and put away his newly cleaned sword in its sheath. He rose from the log with a creek and wandered to the edge of the cliff to look at his fallen leader once more.

I stand at the edge of the camp, feeling the loss of our leader settling in. I quickly notch an arrow and pull the string back. I hold my pose there, letting the anger settle in and I take a deep breath. Holding that breath, my arms start to quiver slightly but I breath out, letting the arrow loose. The arrow flies stright into a tree, becoming stuck several inches in.

Amdis turned his attention back towards the camp when his sensed a presences. He could tell there was something that wasn't quite human about it, but he didn't know what. He wondered if it wanted to help him or not. "I know you're there," Amdis said as bravely as he could. "Is it one of your kind?" Amdis asked Aphrodite.

A pair of intelligent green eyes appeared in large tree. They shifted from side to side and the thing that the eyes belonged to leaped from the tree. The figure appeared to be a girl with dark hair with crimson streaks that flashes under the sun. You couldn't see her face in detail and she was wearing a large black cloak. Slung on her back was a quiver of arrows and a beautifully crafted bow. She walked with air of kindness but mystery and she seems to be glancing around as if she were afraid to be attacked. A black figure appeared beside her, it was a wolf mix and treated her like she was its master.

I quickly retrieve my arrow and walk over to a boy. I flash him a smile, slipping my arrow back in it's holder. "Hi there," I say calmly, my eyes flashing gold for a split second. I could smell the human on him.

Amdis unsheathed his sword and stared at the girl for a minute. She was at list 1/2 and inch taller than him and she looked tough. "Hello," he replied. "Are you from camp Brave?"

Amdis also noticed another girl at the edge of the forest with the same inhuman oddity in her eyes. He backed up a little.

Alex noticed a boy looking at her and cocked her head. What was he looking at, she wondered and gently places he hand on her bow. This guy could be an enemy and she had to be ready. She however didn't move from the edge of the forest and stared back at the boy.

Amdis began to feel threatened when the girl moved her hand to her bow. He raised his sword a little and whistled. A small black wolf pup came bouncing from the direction of the log he was sitting own. It noticed the other canine and began to bark. Amdis reached down with his other hand and drew his dagger form his boot.

I sigh and quickly notch my bow. I pull the string back and let an arrow loos towards the girl. The arrow hits a tree right by her head with a thunk and I smile with some satisfaction.

Alex's dog, Bear, was much bigger than the other dog and she growled menacingly. Alex narrowed her eyes and then they rested on another person. It was a girl and just by taking one look Alex knew that she was a werewolf too. She stepped from the shadows and walked toward the girl.

Amdis noticed another lycan approaching from the forest and began to wonder if this was a trap. He cast nervous glances to each lycan and stood his ground. He finally made the decision to attack and charged the girl with the large dog with his sword raised. "Help me if you wish," he called to the other lycan who said she was on his team."

Alex pulled back her bow string and the arrow she had chosen seemed to spark. Her voice was melodic but sounded slightly like a bark, "I wouldn't suggest coming at me." Bear growled her teeth glinting.

Amdis flickered into survival mode as soon as he saw the menacing lycans in their true forms. He slid out from under the golden eyes one and jumped off the cliff. He felt his ankle crack as he hit the ground with a large thud and began to stumble/run as fast as he could across the battle strewn land.
