CaveQuest: Seeking Artists

We're looking for dedicated EC users that have a knack for digital art to be artists for our upcoming project, CaveQuest!

We realize there are many wonderful styles of art but we are looking particularly for a digital artist (no hand-drawings), especially one who can adapt to our existing "style."?

Responsibilities include:
- Being online and easily reachable daily or as much as possible.
- High-quality artwork, of course

Perks include:
- Being a part of a cool new project and getting to test it too!
- Chatting with Meteoroid is awesome (sometimes me, but probably not 😋)
- We'll love you

- Why do you want to help out? What makes you a great candidate?

Applications have no deadline and we don't know how many we'll select yet. Get them in as soon as possible. Please include examples!

@cotton Not necessarily. 😊 But we do want art that looks nice. We wouldn't expect professional-quality as this is volunteer work. EggCave artist receive a commission.

Instant messenger is simply a free (normally) download-able program where you can add and chat with your friends online, it's like Facebook chat for instance (for those who have one), if you have a Yahoo or a Hotmail account (E-mail) you can sign into one, and you can converse with these people in real time whether they're online, they can be private or you can invite others as a group conversation.

I hope that makes more sense.

I'm debating whether or not I should apply, I've been wanting to become part of a website such as virtual pets, and such.
I've been doing digital art for quite a while now and It'd be a big step for me, and I'm willing to commit, so I'll see, but I wish you luck, and I cannot wait for it's release!

@sky Thanks for explaining. Basically IM is just a realtime chat. It's not required but it's easier to stay in touch than by email alone.

@kalateevolk THanks for your application; could you please send it to cavequestteam@gmail.com? That way we can have applications in the same place. 😉 I'm not accepting apps via Mail because my inbox is full and I can't respond to messages.

I am so tempted to apply! 😃
However, I can't decide whether I should or not, because I have to finish a book cover for a friend, as well as design characters + monsters for another friend's video game. Haha, decisions decisions. XD

Nice is a relative term, so if you're happy with your art, we might be too! 😸 I reccommend you give it a shot -- you never know!
