So I have this cousin, and we were like best friends. Like? No, actually we WERE Best Friends. Well, our parents had a huge fight, and we couldn't have any contact with them for the longest time. Actually, I think we still aren't supposed to.. Well, three weeks ago, she sent me a friend request on facebook. Seeing that our parents had the fight when I was in 5th grade (I'm in 10th now), I accepted it. In my opinion the grownups should oh I dunno, Grow up. 😋

And I was on Vacation, I just got back. And she posted on my profile, on facebook. WHICH SAID THE FOLLOWING:

"You know God works in amazing ways, sometimes it takes awhile but he never lets you down. Today I want to thank him for bringing my cousin back into my life, she is one person who meant a lot to me and I'm very thankful to have her back.. ❤️" And then she tagged me.

And my parents never said anything, and they're like the biggest facebook stalkers EVVVEERRRR. So I dunno if they care that we're friends now, because when they got into the fight, they wouldn't let us even TALK about them...

So I dunno. I guess I don't know what to do. How would I even talk to her? "Oh, hey Nikki, I know I haven't talked to you in 5 years, but how's life?" Uh, no... xD

I think I just need advice right now..

Maybe you should start out with saying something like; I'm SO sorry that we haven't kept in touch. My parents really didn't want me to, and I feel really bad.

And then write some other stuff O^O

She's not online right now, and I don't have any other way of getting in-touch with her, so I will have to wait until then. But her message almost made me cry.. Sometimes it's just nice to know you're not alone in some cases. Like, I thought she completely forgot about what happened and everything, it's nice to know she remembers. It's makes me feel better... 😋

Her mom didn't want us to talk to her either, and we went to different schools, what were we supposed to do? XD

@dawnfur >_< i feel for you. My parents got into a huge fight with my cousin's parents and now even she ignores me and her big sister talks to us.
Their parents run away from us, wouldn't even LOOK at us. And don't even want to be on the same street. And they don't want her daughter even being in the same school at me.

But my sister, my cousin's older sister, and i still talk but it's kinda awkward?

^^; just greet her and maybe say that you haven't seen her for so long.

Well, I'm not going to be able to see her in RL, her mom HATES our Family, she's like the biggest drama queen I've ever seen, in my life. So I might be able to talk to her on Facebook, but that's it. But yeah, I really miss her. She was like my other half..

I'm not saying you are, because you're not in any way, that man has problems. He's the reason you couldn't talk to her, well him and Josh. You're not the only one that hates him, so does Josh, his wife, me, Nikki, his sister, I mean the list just goes on. Does he even have friends? OK, that's mean. Back to the point.

In the message she said you meant a lot to her, which isn't hard to believe, you're pretty lovable. xD I know from experience that's she's gonna be willing to fight to get you back.. 😋
