@april__ We were happy about the new updates but sad to leave the old site behind, so I guess it was kind of in between. 😋 That was how I felt. IDK about the other people, haha.
And yeah, most people were happy but once we got into this version we kind of missed the old one.
Like, we didn't even have forums.

Yeah, I believe @Cotten is right, there were mixed feelings of happy and sad...
Though we'd been waiting quite a while for the release, and were all a bit impatient. XD

You have no idea.
I have been here for the longest time and what I thought Egg Cave could be is a loving family and nice community but all it has turned into is competition to have the best coves and eggs and begging and and etc.

Way I see it, totally miss it and how small it was.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to clarify that I am NOT bashing on Egg Cave in any way and healthy competition is healthy competition. But not when it comes to just... being rude and making this site no longer desirable to come on to.

@cotton: I love that site(the way back machine) soo fun to use 😊 I kind of miss the old eggcave, but not a lot. I hated the dark layout.

I remember seeing Egg Cave on this site. Seen this already a couple times. 😋

I don't remember too many people liking the switch. What they liked was the -idea- of V2 & the forum part, but otherwise it was just iffy. One of the main flaws was that the familiar dark gray & forest green was gone. A lot of us complained about that.
I for one would switch back to those colors anytime. :]

But I have to admit, the feeling of community then was so much more apparent in the small world Egg Cave was. Now all those "attempts" to bring it back feel so fake...
