@balletninja ok i apologize for saying you bashed me but i kinda felt that way. I know you didn't mean it to be mean and was making a point but it kind of bothered me a bit and you are not the only one that has said those things to me .
Deleted • 27 June 2012 at 3:26 PM
@whispersAgreed!
1992firebirdgirl • 27 June 2012 at 3:29 PM
@balletninja I make plenty of money and have a lot extra..I own my house and have all the gadgets and gizmos I can ask for so with some of my extra money I feel its ok to spend it on here. I see your point if i didn't really have it to spend but i do
balletninja • 27 June 2012 at 3:41 PM
@1992firebirdgirl Awesome, but there have got to be better things to do with money. I am not un-supporting egg cave but isn't 120 a bit excessive? I mean $25 a month to spend on eggcave is quite enough to be loyal in my mind. Maybe people throwing away money is sensitive to me. You weren't really throwing it away necessarily, but I think there are good balances that should be met on spending.
1992firebirdgirl • 27 June 2012 at 3:45 PM
@balletninja I see your point and understand how you can feel that way but for me i disagree.
cat • 27 June 2012 at 3:56 PM
@whispers I totally understand. There have been a few topic that I said that I don't agree, and then the person who made it started to say "Oh yeah, your just saying that because you don't like me!" That just really brings me down. I said that because I don't agree!I'm feeling like I'm not allowed to state my opinion.
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 5:40 PM
@catYeah. I hate those >.>
kurochi-akuma • 27 June 2012 at 5:53 PM
@whispersVery good point! Bashing is never good! D:I say, if you have a point/disagreement to make say it nicely ONCE and MOVE ON. ^-^'The reason I said that was I've been reading @1992firebirdgirl and @balletninja conversation on here and I don't mean to pry or be mean....but, Balletninja, I think 1992firebirdgirl has got it. ^-^'You two bring up good points, but you should realize that everyone lives their life differently. I'm glad you are making eachother aware, but once is enough. โค๏ธThank you! And Whispers I totally agree with this! Good point~ 8D

@WhispersThank you for bringing this up.This has been on my mind for a while and it is very true.I think we should all lighten up a bit and respect others opinions, not bash on them. It's their own matter of opinion no one should force someone into changing their opinions.We follow our owns paths, if they wanna go left, let them, there is no right path.If you don't like someones opinion, keep your comments to yourself.
balletninja • 27 June 2012 at 6:49 PM
@kurochi-akuma Kinda just prolonged my madness -.-
hedwig68 • 27 June 2012 at 7:03 PM
I agree and sometimes people freak out if you by some chance said the same thig as someone else. I was on a suggestion and someone had a suggestion that several users, including me, didn't agree with. When I stated why they didn't agree they said, "Dude you said some of the same things as others!" And then they started freaking out at me because I put the same thing as someone else.
Deleted • 27 June 2012 at 7:04 PM
@WhispersAgreed that is partly why I am going on a hiatus.
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 7:58 PM
@hedwig68I think I was stating my opinion in that suggestion too@kitty19catAw โน๏ธ
hedwig68 • 27 June 2012 at 8:00 PM
@whispersYeah I think I remember you, they just started ganging up on you if you said something that someone else had already said.
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 8:02 PM
@hedwig68I remember there was another one that a user posted that they did that as well (that's if we are talking about the same one xD)
hedwig68 • 27 June 2012 at 8:05 PM
@whispers XD Yeah I am wondering if we are talking about the samething. XD
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 8:08 PM
@hedwig68Let's PM it to make sure XD
twilight_raptor • 27 June 2012 at 8:23 PM
So true ๐ If everyone was polite while stating their opinions, no ones feelings are hurt and if no ones feelings are hurt then there'd be no pulling peoples hair on suggestion topics and if there is no pulling peoples hair on suggestion topics then there'd be no topics that require locking by a Mod just because people started squabbling on there xP There'd be... a nice atmosphere ^^;
lazydazy411 • 27 June 2012 at 8:24 PM
@whispersI agree. And I have to admit that maybe I've done it before =3 I never really meant to bash at anyone, I just tried to state my opinion. But yeah, I realized that it was rude and I lightened up a bit. It ticks me off that a bunch of people can be pretty rude on here... -____-
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 8:32 PM
@lazydazy411I've never seen you do it ^^;
lazydazy411 • 27 June 2012 at 8:40 PM
@whispersMm, I have actually ๐ธ Not so proud of myself for doing that. >.< I'm glad you started a topic on this, the bashing really bothers me nowadays. I've considered quitting because of it.
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 8:41 PM
@lazyday411I've had to block users because of it. >_>And I was getting annoyed with how people are becoming ruder and ruder โน๏ธ
crescentfeather • 27 June 2012 at 8:42 PM
@whispers Agreed. ๐Your topic has been blessed by The Almighty Ian himself! O.o
whispers • 27 June 2012 at 8:43 PM
@crescentfeatherYeah. The almighty Egg Cave god, Ian ๐
lazydazy411 • 27 June 2012 at 8:46 PM
@whispersYup, it's like people are being influenced by those rude people. โน๏ธ
mrsgiggles • 27 June 2012 at 9:03 PM
Aren't we being a little too sensitive, though? Disagreeing is a way of life, both online and in real life, and sometimes, disagreements can get heated. If it gets out of hand, a mod can step in. Otherwise, there is no need for people to start telling each other to be polite. We'll all end up afraid of saying anything but harmless fluffy things.
shadielle • 27 June 2012 at 9:06 PM
And do you guys know what is causing all of these troubles on Egg Cave? The value of Cave Cash these days and the growth of this website. I joined EC 2 years ago and I don't remember seeing all these arguments and such. The increasing value of CC makes people more greedy, frustrated (when they don't get what they want), less friendly and stressed with CC for CC trades. Not too many months ago, before CC creatures appeared, it used to feel like there was a cooperation spirit in this website. People would actually care for each other and help each other. I don't mean helping by just giving creatures for free, because that would be something like "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". There are other ways of helping people, such as teaching people how to trade and simply being friendly with them, mostly with newbies.The increasing number of players is also causing this. EC used to be a small village and has now become a town, and soon it will become a whole country. With so many people, several opinions and differences arise, as well as conflicts.These changes are making old users leave. It breaks my heart. I know I can't leave my creatures but I'm currently very disappointed with EC.So yeah, I agree with @whispers. Since we're now experiencing a new phase in this website, we all will have to behave accordingly and adjust our attitudes a bit๐
cat • 27 June 2012 at 9:10 PM
@mrsgigglesTrue, but this isn't RL. Egg Cave is often a place for users to calm down in. And often, people don't point their fingers at you and start screaming their heads off because you disagree. No one will find us here, so it's okay to act crazy and troll, right? No. That isn't right.
mrsgiggles • 27 June 2012 at 9:15 PM
@cat The thing is, it's hard to tell what exactly the person's motivations behind words are when it comes to online. I can be joking, but you can think that I am insulting you. Which is why, I think, there should be some room for disagreements, even if things get heated a bit. I personally would prefer to let the mod decide how far a disagreement should go before a thread is locked. I've seen forums where people jump on someone the moment that person disagrees, because they are too eager to tell that person to be polite, nice, don't be rude, etc. Such attitude kills discussions because there can be no discussion without disagreement, and people won't say anything much if they worry that they will be jumped on for being rude.What I'm trying to say here is that ordinary users shouldn't be the police force to decide how others should behave. Ian and the mods should be the people to do so. The best thing we can do is to report any incidences that we feel is unfair or wrong to them.
balletninja • 27 June 2012 at 9:20 PM
@cat She didn't say act crazy and troll. @mrsgiggles is totally right. People want everyone to be happy with each other and personally; I hate when people become fuzz balls.But have you seen other sites? People are so much worse on here. I think people hate me on here, because I am not always random and nice. But on other sites, people admire and respect me for being myself.I used to be nice and fuzzy, but I realized I was sick of sugarcoating. We only need it in moderation, and people seem to want it 24/7. I was accused of bashing and I wasn't even bashing, I was being mature and kindly explaining my point. I thought I was doing a good job, but apparently people want me to be like "OMG GURL I LOVE YOUUU!" about everything.@shadielle I agree in the end, I remember the days when @muppet got a tine and a foo for 3 csp. D:
