Creature suggestion- Pandai

Maybe for mysterious asteroid or cash shop? ( even though I cant get CC xD )
Anyways; you can probably tell pandai is based off a red panda, but the word Pandai actually means clever and intelligent/bright in Bahasa (Malay ) And I thought it would be the perfect name for a red panda based creature.

Pandai's are wise, clever, and intelligent ( cause thats what pandai means xD ) and are quick on their feet.

Once again, it's really nice, but I don't think this one would be made, it's unlikely since it kinda resembles the Kaihon.

Wish I made some changes before it was too late, maybe I should look at the archives more xD

I get lazy and take breaks in between, I hate it when you get so into it that your hand starts to sweat and it;s just nasty xD haha, I've been practicing shading for years and I finally found a style i like! First I just start off with the base color, like a place white, then I chose a new color slightly darker than the base color, and I go into the crevices and other parts where I feel like there would be shadows, then I repet and get another color slightly dark and go over half the parts I colored last time with the color I used before, then I do it again, and again, then when im done I get a color slightly lighter than the base color and go over the places I feel like there would be light, and yeah...... pretty much how I do it. and I like to add dots and stuff to the shading xD

oh no, i've seen them before, I own one actually, I just never payed attention to their design, and I didn't notice they were raccoons haha
yeah, at least I didnt chose brown as the 2nd color ( which I almost did ) if I did, it would look even morel like a kaihon D:

Ooh close call, but it's still a kind of raccooney lemur-ish ferret thing since red pandass aren't actual pandas. But again, very interesting creation, just not the most original in my opinion.

Yeah now that I think of it, a lot of animals have ringed tails. I mean maybee???? it still has a small chance of being considered? Theres lots of cats and wolves, but only 1 raccoon.

True, but I mean that we JUST got a raccoon, so maybe it will be considered later? When the Kaihon would be less recent I guess. I know there's a lot of cats, but I suggested a lynx, because we don't have that, and I love lynxes and caracals. They should also make a hyena or an African wild dog even if they have a lot of dogs.

Yeah! I'd love to see more exotic breeds instead of the usual classic Tom cat. Also, apparently Nyms and Corphexes are wolves...but they look way more like dogs to me. :/

yeah, foo looks like a regular fox to me, probably one of the most plain creatures. At least i like foxes ^^

Everything on egg cave is nicely drawn O: But you can see the differences in the styles of drawing in some creatures. like your featured isnt the same drawing style as my features, but hey no two people draw the same. If they did everything would be blahh. Yeah for foo they could have changed the colors or added a little accessory.

That's because they have different artists. And for the foo, just add a little something fantastic, y'know? Like the Brownill is a plain brown bear, but it has a scarf. The Honk is also really plain, yet I love how it changes colors drastically when it evolves, at least that's original right? Thankfully the newer releases are more creative, since they came from users...though I will never afford any CC creature and they are the most beautiful creatures.

Brownil would be boring as a plain bear, ut the scarf really stands out, and makes it uh... not boring. I think the point of Honk was to be plain, I named my honk plain-jane xD
I know what you're saying about the CC creatures! my parents probably wouldnt ever buy me CC, and I have better stuff to waste my money on, I wish I had CC creatures though, they are so nice. Thats why im submitting so many creature suggestions, hoping they they like one, and create one so I can have a creature that hopefully looks nice, without me having to pay for it. How often do they create new creatures that were suggested by people?

But the only suggestion I have for now has like 0 chances of being made. :0
Hmm well I don't really know, but I think pretty much all the new creatures are user made now, and if you look at the creature's creator's art...well, it shows that they choose for the idea, not the artistic quality...if you know what I mean. *feels guilty saying this*

Yeah, I mean, i could just give my parents money and they'd buy it for me with their credit card, but I don't have any extra money anyways, and I don't even know how long im going to be on eggcave, I wasted money on clubpenguin in 4th grade and got banned, i wasted money on Gaia in 6th and quit after a year, and if I keep spending money on CC i'd be broke and when im 18 and going to look back and say " why did I spend money on pixels? Now I dont have gas money to drive"

What was your suggestion?
& yeah, but I mean, art must count for a small percentage of it right? o goodr quality should I say? If someones drawing is a lynx with scribbles and bad quality and you can barely see it because its like too dark then they probably wouldnt pick it over a lynx that is neat and you can clearly see the designs.
btw- Do they let out new creatures randomly through eat month? or like on the 1st of each month? or every 2 months?

And that's quite the process you've got there! I'll have to give it a try, if you don't mind~ ^^ My shading method is super lazy-- er, I mean simple. XD I just take a slightly darker color, scribble it in the places I think it should be, and then quickly smudge blend it... Lol, I am a lazy artist.

It takes a while, but its definitely worth it..... I think.
See if it works out for you, I get lazy with the shading sometimes, and thats when I take a break, sometimes i never return to the drawing though xD I used to do the same thing that you do, I used to go on this warriors forum and hang out in the art section and someone gave me tips on how to shade with GIMP and how to make my line art smoother, and I improved from there i guess.

Ouch. I have money, lots of it, but I can't use PayPal for it, and my parents will never buy me anything from the Cave Cash shop because for them, it's a pointless game. But they'd happily buy me a math book or a dictionary. :[
My suggestion is on my profile.
I don't know if art counts a lot...I've seen creatures that had been made in which their original suggestion picture is very blurry or weird...I can't name names though.
And, do you mean as in the Suckerlop or Kaihon kind of way? Like, common eggs? Those appear at random times and sometimes they have to retire a common (like the Aerlo or punbundu) to add a new common. But CC creatures are strictly monthly. And now, most of the suggestions are made by users.

With how the final product looks, it definitely seems worth the work to me.
Since I'm doodling at the moment, I'll try it out right now! Hah, the joy of taking a break and never getting back into the drawing groove to finish something. xD
