It's me ranting again, just warning you.

It's about several things.
One, it's about the monthlies. I have nothing against sky. She is AWESOME 8D But I was disappointed that 2 were made by her. I didn't have any suggestions for this month, so I'm not "jealous", but I'm disappointed. I saw very good suggestions out there, and I wanted them to be made so bad. But then two of sky's gets chosen. I thought that it was unfair to other users who had great ideas! But nothing against sky ^^ I love her ❤️

Then I know about the Paroxy. It's cute. But another cat. How many cats do we have on here now 😋 And another thing abou the Paroxy, where is the kitten stage? D8

Now I'm ranting about RL. So we had this major storm that knocked out our power. And I was stuck listening to the radio. Then they had a rep from the power company come and talk, and they were saying they weren't going to get power to the people in the country (like me) were their least priority. And we don't have water! We have to use a well. And we had to get a generator. It costs almost 100 dollars in gas to get it working to get water. And the people in the city have access to water. Bah! I was so mad. We finally got it back. Then I get disappointed in the monthlies.

Sorry if I'm acting snotty. I'm just in a mood D8<

I agree with your Eggcave rants. I do love sky but maybe Ian should have chosen just 1 of hers and 2 others from 2 other people.

Also, I love cats but I think Eggcave has enough...

But I somewhat wish that the Paroxy wasn't made. I love the Brios though.

Sure. Mine isn't made yet, I've only sent 1 creature suggestion and it hasn't been made! Eggcave hasn't any Shrimps.... OUCH! Just a bit unfair!

I love the lizard! I don't see any problem with two users being chosen from the same user, I'm going to assume that Ian is choosing pets because he likes them more than others, or thinks they suit the month, or hasn't gotten round to the others yet, not favoritism. I have more right to be annoyed about the pets than all of you, because that means I have to buy them! D:< Actually, maybe that's Ian's thinking... o.o

The Brios, I like it, it's original, you're not really sure what it is (:

Paroxy, DONT WE HAVE ENOUGH FREAKING CATS?? And it is pretty much exactly like the Tific except it costs real money.

Slysal, I mean at least its not another cat but it too much like the ribbert... we need more original creatures.

It feels as if Eggcave has become riddled with favoritism. I too saw much better suggestions that were much more original, yet one user had two monthlies created. It seems unfair. Hmm. I have other complaints, but I won't write them here.

I agree with all the points everyone said. 😊 But Ian is also busy, and sometimes he doesn't have time to chose. Also, He may choose what he thinks is easier for his artist to draw. I also agree that there has to be more different creatures, Like the brios and slysal, which aren't based on specific creatures, but you have to suggest them. 😊

I think you other users are just jealous and should spend less time getting all worked up about a tiny little thing and start working on some better ideas if you want yours chosen 😋 And your artwork 😋 I'd like some examples of these oh-so amazingly original pets 😋 Maybe the Paroxy was another cat, well, some users like cats, and most cats aren't available to people right now, so this is giving them a chance to get some kind of kitty.
SO SUCK IT UP, people 😋 Ian's decisions are final. Complain to him, don't make one ton of stupid drama on the blog ._.

OnO I'm depressed every month. I especially hate it when two of the creatures are made by the same person... and i'm pretty sure my suggestions weren't even looked at.

I also wish there were more original creatures other than dogs, cats, and other pets that look or resemble ones already made.

But we don't choose what creatures we get and Ian does have other things to do (i am sure) so i am happy for what he picks but i wish he would pick other suggestions...

I saw a lot of great suggestions that weren't made yet..

I agree with the creatures rant
I think its unfair that a user gets 2 creatures made in one month, personally, I don't like either because parozy is too plain for my liking and I never like metal things or dragons, I never liked either, but I do like the lizard, anyways, if ian liked both maybe he could have made 1 of them and saved the other one for another month? to give another user a chance to have their creature made.

Look at this wonderful site. Egg Cave wouldn't be here if Ian hadn't made it. We are all being ungrateful. Even if you don't like the monthlies, you don't have to buy them. We should be happy that we even HAVE monthlies. Honestly, who cares if there are many cats? (Okay, maybe you might, but that isn't the point 😋) That might be because the other ideas for Egg Cave weren't so good.

I agree that the Paroxy isn't very original. It's just a cat, and it's exactly the same in all stages (that won't stop me from hunting after it, though). As for two of Sky's suggestions getting made...well, I guess it isn't exactly fair, but in the end it is Ian's choice, and he can choose whatever designs he wants.

Also, @cat...people aren't being ungrateful to having EC, they're just talking about its flaws. Just 'appreciating' what you have doesn't bring about change. We do have to be grateful, but pointing out flaws is okay as well.

I have mixed opinions on the CC creatures.

Overall, I expect a bit more in exchange for real money. Some monthlies are outstanding, and others are just... Meh. You want them for two days, then you hate them.

I love the Brios. It is creative and unique, and there's no harm in adding one more robot-like creature to the site. 😊

The Paroxy is okay, except that I'm starting to agree with other users. There have been WAY too many cats lately on the site. If the first stage looked more like a little kitten, I think it would've been better. 😱

The slysal, or whatever it's called. I like the first stage because it looks like it has like... A nom-face on. 8D The last two stages are just... A bit awkward.

I try not to complain about creatures, because other users suggest them and everyone thinks differently, but the same old types of creatures over and over again IS becoming a little bit too much...

I think this month's creatures are fine. Although I'm only a fan of the Brios, I know that there are users out there who prefer the others. It was nice to have some variety that appealed to different tastes.

As for selecting creature suggestions, I don't think Ian even looks at usernames from selecting, at least from my experience. I can assure you his thought process wasn't "let's select 2 from the same user this month!" It just turned out that 2 of @sky's ideas were ones that he thought would be a good fit on EC. 😊 It's fine.
