I growl, shaking my head. -Then what are we going after?- I glance around, frowning because we were upwind. Any predators could smell us if they were below us.

Alex-

The rustling of leaves drags my attention back from my thoughts and I quickly shift into my wolf form. I sniff the air, almost breathing a sigh of relief when all I smell is two girls from my pack....

Siren-

I hear the sniffing and crouch, ready to pounce on whatever creature was there. I couldn't smell it, so I had no way of knowing what it is.

Alex-

I tense my muscles and sprint of in the direction of pack. My dark brown fur masking my movement from preying eyes.

I give a warning growl to whatever was coming closer, having no idea. My ears lay flat on my head and I glance at Samantha, looking at her like she was crazy.

Samantha-

I look at Siren then catch a scent of another wolf. Out of pure instict I lay my ears flat on my head but dont lower my body at all. A sign of aggresion in the pack. I curl my lips back into a snarl.

I jump over a log, (the same one Siren jumped over) slicing through the air my eyes darting from one tree to the next, my smell leading me closer and closer to the two wolves. I relax a little knowing I am getting closer.
Up ahead are two familiar girls Siren and Samantha.

I frown, recognizing the dark shape in front of me. I shift human, still crouched. My hair falls in front of my face and I smile. "Hey there, Alex."

Sensing the ever present danger my senses seem to enhance. My eyes scan around seeing nothing in the shadows. It was dark now and only the moons pure white light made it possible to see. I turn to Siren and shift into wolf.

I soon follow, fighting a yawn. I blink lazily and frown as it starts to rain a little. -Great. Finding trials just got a lot harder.- I say to them both, sending the thought.

I sprint off into the rain weaving between trees.
I come to a halt. 100 meters away from me is a wolf. It has sleek black fur with a white glossy tail. It's tuned away from me it's focus distracted from the real danger.

I grin. Time to kill!

I turn and dart off, just barely smelling something cat-like. I move quietly, blending in easily as the rain darkens my fur.

I flex my muscles and close my eyes. I imagine the kill in my mind. Lighting strikes a nearby tree, at the same moment I open my eyes and they are filled with hatred and rage.

I jump, no lunge at the enemy wolf. Claws out stretched and my white teeth reflecting the moons light.

Siren-
I slip from shadow to shadow, getting closer to closer. The trail stops. It literally just stops and I stand there like an idiot, staring at the ground, thinking, "What the heck?"

I turn and my paw snaps a twig. I hear a snarl above me and look up only to see a very large, very angry mountail lion fall on me.

My teeth sink into the neck of the wolf. Blood drips from the wound and the enemy growls in pain. He twists his head making me lose my grip. In the corner of my eye I see Siren being attacked by another wolf. "AMBUSH!"

Siren-
I growl struggling with the big cat. The snarls almost drown out Alex's warning, but I still hear. I yelp as razor sharp claws rake down my back, leaving several very large, very bloody cuts. I shake roughly, trying to get my attacker off so I could deal with the wolf.

(Okay, okay, okay.. I'll stay up a LITTLE longer.)

Alex-

I focus my attention of the attacking wolf. I glare at it seeming to read it's mind and predict it's next moves. I lean back in a perfect postion for attack and defense.
"Easy prey" I though to myself. "I'm alpha and he's probably Omega."

I see a blur just behind me. I don't dare turn my head. But I already know it's another enemy.

(Have to go for good now)

Siren-
I end up slamming my back against a tree, successfully knocking the cat out. I smile and face my attacker, snarling in rage.

"This is MY territory!" I snarl, but it wasn't anything in english. I was full wolf, and spoke only wolf for now. I lunge, catching him off guard.

I run and shift into a wolf. I howl as I jump over and help my pack. I rip into wolves, my human and wolf instincts going in for the kill. I was already steaming mad from the day, and this really didn't help.

Samuel had been hunting elk when he heard fighting a little ways from his location. He ran towards the noise his blonde fur looking like a flash as he ran. He soon spotted Alex and he saw wolf dead near him. Samuel rushed over and said, "What happened?"
