@phalen Clicks and feeds don't count towards immortilization. Only views do. XD

Deleted • 4 July 2012 at 1:54 AM

but when you feed you get a view automatically

that is why i say feed and not view, cause anyone can say they viewed - but there is no proof.

feeding shows proof.

@phalen - I have an Idea. You give some creatures to a user, they make it immortal, then give it back to you. ;D

@phalen - So basically you count how many times someone has fed a creature before they become immortalize, right? 😊

I'd like to help! 😊

@phalen

But... you really can't tell.

Eg:

A creature is immortal when the sum of its clicks, feeds and views is 6000 (because a sum of 3 equals 1 level).
Feeds reset at 3 am.
The creature is at level 1998, with 5900 views, 45 clicks and 45 feeds (total= 5990/6000 => level 1996).

Somebody comes (views, clicks and feeds) and it is now 5901 views, 46 clicks and 46 feeds (total= 5993/6000 - level 1997), but it shows 5900 feeds, 45 clicks and 46 feeds (total= 5991/6000 - still same level).

More people come:
- 5996 - shows 47 feeds for a sum of 5992
- 5999 - shows 48 feeds for a sum of 5993
A PERSON RANDOMLY COMES THROUGH YOUR COVE AND VIEWS! BAM! It's immortalised. But the person doesn't know about the previous three, and you don't know about the person, and the rightful immortaliser doesn't get their prize. Meanwhile...
- 6002 - shows 49 feeds for a sum of 5994
- 6005 - shows 50 feeds for a sum of 5995
- 6008 - shows 51 feeds for a sum of 5996
- 6011 - shows 52 feeds for a sum of 5997
- 6014 - shows 53 feeds for a sum of 5998
- 6017 - shows 54 feeds for a sum of 5999
- 6020 - shows 55 feeds for a sum of 6000
By your method, it would go to the person who screenshot the 55th feed, even though that person gave the creature the level 6020 (actually probably more because of those who stumble upon your Cove and give extra views).

Just pointing out the little flaw in the plan, you won't shoot me, I hope XD. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

And I'll still help by feeding, ofc 😊

Deleted • 4 July 2012 at 7:43 AM

sheesh but you guys can complain.

how else should this go? i cant tally feeds so i cant count them to see who has the most feeds.

so please tell me how else should this happen.

I would like to enter but I know mewlynnmagic who is doing the same thing but differently.

I think you should do it mewlynnmagic's way. It's when you assign a certain amount of creatures to a person then whoever gets their creature immortalized first wins the prize!

Though I guess the begging levels could be evened out by giving a balance (almost same lv. ones to everyone)

Deleted • 4 July 2012 at 9:21 AM

and how would i choose who to give to, its a bit unfair to select only a few to do it, unless i give everyone just a single creature. (59 currently)

and i dont want to go on first who immortalized, i want to go on the last to immortalize as i want all of my babies done.

given that, if i did it this way (splitting up), ppl would drag their feet to ensure them being last. which isnt fair or helping at all.
also, my babies are not the same levels.

@phalen

Well the whole terms are pretty loose and full of loopholes, for such a big prize XD. People can drag their feet now too, wait for others to do the work and just come on the last day :/

@phalen

Mika_milile has a very in-depth explanation, so instead of the previous way you could just turn this into a feeding contest 😊

Veiws are updated at 3:00am ECT so you can't really tell. I agree with @zafeyry it should be a feeding contest.

Deleted • 4 July 2012 at 10:02 AM

i am very busy at work, which is why i want my cove immortalized so that i can stop paying attention to them.

i dont have time to count feeds.

any other ways/suggestions?

@phalen
Instead of holding a contest(I"m going to get bashed for this :x)
just ask volunteers to throw them into the click exchange.

I heard my name mention 😊

Tips:

Assign a number of critters to people. (Make sure the number is EQUAL)

Let them do whatever they want (click exchanges)

Make it a feeding contest...

Example of mine: "Who ever immortalizes all their assigned critters FIRST wins the first prize, second wins the SECOND prize... See what I did there?
