Is anyone having this same problem...?

I honestly should have contacted these companies sooner when I have had the chance, just for safety measures.

Lately I've been checking in my Hotmail account to hear back from a few applications, but I was rather disappointed when I found that my account had been blocked.

In the past couple of months I've been receiving mail from several gaming companies, such as JAGEX (Runescape) and NCsoft (Aion Online), the messages I've been receiving from the companies have been informing me that I've been attempting of selling my account, which makes no sense what-so-ever, considering I don't own an account on either of the sites. My best guess is that I've been hacked.

Because of this I am now trying to recover my account.

Most importantly I would like to let @Zac and @Meteoroid know because I had sent in my applications for Cave Quest from that E-mail.

Has anything like this happened to any of you or are any of you currently receiving those E-mails?

Eh, looks like everything is fine now, I've managed to recover my account but I'm going to have to contact the companies sooner or later.

Because immediately after I've now recovered my account I've once again received another E-mail from Runescape.

This is ridiculous.

@sky - I did. Lol, A couple of months ago? Yah, YM, Fb and EVERYTHING! ☹️ -__- I was like.. o-o GOSH! I never knew someone would take interest in my account.. O_____O

I'm glad to know that I'm not alone.
I've been wondering why they are targeting my account and how they could possibly assume that I've been trying to sell my non-existent account.

check weather its keylogger hun..and do the scan and restore system if possible..

@sky - I think they're just Spams or something? Well actually, when I entered/ logged in to my account it says I logged in California ? then the date and time... I was like...
O________________________________________________O
Really!?! Seriously!?! and completely shocked. When I got back to reality I laughed. Whoaa! I wasn't even on California.. xD
But, it's a good thing I got my mails, yahoo, hotmail and Fb back.. xD I forgot to mention I had hm account. >.<"

@sky oh my gosh. I did once ovo;; i had an old yahoo mail account,this random dude kept telling me to pay him money, i ignored it and a day later, my whole yahoo account was blocked. Oxo;;

do you mean your hotmail account has been hacked? cause those emails are just spam. dont click on those links either.

@Belilalas_25 I've had people asking me for money too, once in Spanish! XD They give me this huge sob story and tell me they'll pay me back o.o Dude ._.

@Sky Yeah, unless there's something important, I'd just use a new account ^w^ That's what I do, at least o.o You can change your Eggcave email address for one o.o

I've had my hotmail hacked before
I've never seen so many spam messages sent to random people ever!

try changing your password to a ridiculously long one and have it written down so you don't forget

when i changed the password, the spamming stopped and i was able to get a few very important accounts for websites back

Warning to all DO NOT OPEN SOMETHING CALLED Do you need help to make sure you are spam free???
It contains many viruses!

For me both were sob stories; just arrived in a forieign country and credit cards or papers or whatever stolen and not working, sob sob sob X3

@belilalas_25 - I think that guy is a fake. Just a fake. Plain FAKE! Seriously? How would that guy know if your spending an account or even own a credit card? Pfft. I can't or even won't spend 87 dollars on the internet at once... T_T

What happened to your account then? I'm soo curious.

It got blocked so i went and made an account on aol, o_o aol works better really. I haven't had spam for 2 years.
@asi ._. i never get spam no more. Ahaha. Yahoo mail gives me sob stories. ALOT. until i changed to aol.

I get random e-mails from some Chinese/Japanese person. I figured out how to block the e-mail address. Even though I couldn't type it. x3

@belilalas_25 - Ohhh.. I was havving 2's with making an account since, it's too many to keep up with all of them. Gmail, Ymail, Hotmail and otherss.. but mostly them. I had like 2 or 3 accounts there? Another one including my cousin giving me 4-5... -___- I am too stupid reading Spam mails since I don't even know what it means.. xD
