I might be quitting

This isn't a 'please don't quit' or whatever thread. No one here knows me. Aside from a couple people I spoke to briefly.

My question is... Why is there so much negativity on here?

I came on here, after being told this was a 'happy' site but all I've come across since I came here has been negative things about the creator of eggcave and the site itself.

I might not be quitting. I'm just in a mood where seeing it all bothers me.

And if I do quit, no you can't have the Mouflon, which is my only rare creature. My Mouflon, if I quit, will go back to the original owner who so kindly gifted me.

I agree...I am not to the point of quitting but it bugs me that people just have to say all these negative things about Ian and this site.

I really hope you don't quit.

While I agree there is some negativity, hence my attempt at a positive topic, there is also a lot of nice people on here that are very grateful to Ian for the site.

(And dang, I keep writing Iain because that's how my dad's name is spelt before respelling it. XD)

Yeah, i agree, I've seen some pretty horrible conversations between people. But it just depends on who you feed and who you get to know. Sometimes you just have to ignore what people say, because there will always be people like that...

Yeah, I've talked to my sister about the negititvity on here and she suggested I quit. But this is the only thing stoping me from comiting suiside....

This is a negative site, somewhat, but if you speak with people enough, it's a really nice and fun site. Or was. Things change.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. I HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT WITH MY COUSIN, AND IT IS H-E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS AND BACK TO GET THROUGH IT. Your family will be so upset, crying, so sad... NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

One of the reasons that EC is negative is because awesome people quit OnO *coughcough*

...Do you remember me? I met you when you first came on the site. I wish I warned you about the negativity on this site, I completely agree with you. I've been considering quitting too. The only thing that's been wanting me to stay is my creatures.

The site is happy if you ignore all the rants and complaints (although there is a LOT...). I think they're just plain rude and mean.

I really hope that in the end, you decide to stay. I think you're a great user. (:

A lot has changed since when I first joined in October.

If only warrior13 hadn't.....BLUH

Then most of the old users would be still here.

Over half of the oldies quit during my time here.

And now, everything is falling apart, from what used to be one big, loving family.

Well, we are humans...

I agree. Lots of negativity. Some things may not make you happy, but PLEASE don't share them with everybody. *sigh*

I really do hope you don't quit. 😊 You seem like a very nice, positive user, though I've never truly spoken to you.
