Hi everyone, my name is Huari and I'm only minutes old on this site and I'm already very fond of it. I'm hoping to get to know people around here and get into the swing of things here, and this seems like a good way to get started!

If anyone has some tips about things they would recommend doing, I'd love to hear them. I'm currently reading through the FAQ, which should hopefully cover most things, but isn't it always more fun to help and be helped by fellow members of the community? The first answer I'm hunting for in this FAQ is what a "star" creature is... I found one with a star next to it and the word star in it's name, and I plan to get to the bottom of this!

So yes, if anyone is looking for someone friendly to talk to, just let me know! I don't bite, and I'm always looking for an interesting conversation with a new person. I'm sure it's pretty common courtesy to click and feed the creatures of a friend, so please, send me a message so we can grow each others eggs and creatures!

What I did up there is called a ping. When you ping someone, you put a @ sign in front of their username. It will inform them that you are speaking to them on a specific forum, and will also provide a hyperlink to their profile. (Eg. @pebblestar-nightclan)

Welcome to Egg Cave! A "Star Creature" is just a rarer version of the normal ones. This is the answer from the FAQs page:

"What is the star icon I see on certain creatures?

The star icon indicates that a creature is a very rare Star Creature. Star creatures are different than non-star creatures in that they are extremely rare."

@huari Star creatures are rarer than normal non-starred eggs. If you wish to get a creature starred, you could buy a Star Potion in the Cash Shop Park for 100 Cavecash , or $1.00 USD.

I advise you not to steal too many eggs, because it takes a lot of time to take care of them 😋 When I was a newbie, I stole a lot every day, and now I have a ton of commons cluttering up xD
