@crooton1 i know you mean well, but starting an "official gifting thread" really isn't a good idea.

/gifting/ is awesome. starting threads like this, though, causes a TON of beggars to come out of the woodworks, and eventually it will turn into nothing but a beggar thread. TRUST me...its much better to do random gifting. it will only be abused this way. there was even a WAR on neopets about it. trust me....doesn't end well.

random gifting = good
set up official gifting = bad

@nvr4evr1 o_O yes there were...towards the end of the board a bunch of random people who /weren't/ gifting anything just started spouting off "i'd love a tine" "i really want an onny!", etc.

anyway, that was just one random one. i'm talking about organized "official" boards. those always start off awesome, but eventually beggars realize thats where they get free stuff and they swamp the boards. it got so bad on neopets that TNT had to BAN the creation of gifting boards. i just don't want egg cave to turn into /that/. /thats/ why i left neopets.
