Okay. As everyone knows (and pokes staus) I am on NASA website every few hours.
And, I'm a Space person, and I study the planets, stars, ect (NO, I DO NOT WORK AT NASA. I'M ONLY 12. I get up to date. I always go on the NASA website. Plus, I have a telescope, and I go to a club 😊 I'm the only 12-year old there.:/ Then there's a 14/15 year old there.)
Anyway, back to the topic, A Solor Flare, a giant storm on the Sun, is hitting Earth!
The biggest one ever, and you're also able to see it during the DAY.
Now, Computers, any electric is gonna "Die" or shut down, for a while. That is TOMARROW. :/ So much for me getting on NASA.
Wait, NASA TV!

Right, off topic, well, that's all I have. Northen Lights, WOOT!
Anyway, post what you thing 😸
SPACE, WOOT!

So where exactly will you see it? And with the electronics dying out for a while; is it just for the U.S. or is it the whole world? 😋

@Lonewolf
I think it's everywhere. IT RAINED ON ME LAST NIGHT :/ So, I didn't see it :/

@pjbuzzy
Nope. They're just "Fire" or what I call it xD
They won't burn us. They'll only afect electronics. And compasses.

@kitty19cat
On the Sun. I think it affect everywhere on Earth. Mainly the poles.

@SpiritHawk
No and no. Earth will only be destroyed by a Red Giant, witch is about 5 billon years from now (The Sun is 4.5 billon years old.) (As of our real age in real life) We'd all be dead in 5 billon years.

@SpiritHawk
Sorta. The ways people say it irritates me. "Hey *instert a random name*, the world's gonna end!"
"Hey, *Instert a random name*, the Moon is gonna make the world end!"
"*Instert a random name*! The worrld's gonna end by Sun/Jupiter! Can you belive that?!"

I'm like, "GOSH GUYS! The world's not gonna end, now that is. It is in 5 billon years :/"

They're like O_________O -_- Space *instert G33k or n33rd*

@redstar-fireclan

I do know a few thing about this but not much.Still i think it wont have affect everywhere.I could be wrong.

@spirithawk

Well true the world wont end from the effects of a star any time soon but there are many other thing that could destroy human kind at an unknown moment.So the world MIGHT end in your lifetime.

As for 21.12.2012 it was predicted by the Mayans that the world will end on that day.This hasn't been proven but it is true that there will be an event in the universe then.As far as i remember it is an event that humans haven't witnessed yet and it isn't known how it will effect earth.

@onyx
2012 isnt the end of the world, if it was, the end would have already passed because the mayans don't count leapyears. So It would have ended a while ago.

@redstar-fireclan
O.o I cant find anything about the solar flare anywhere D:

@faybaybay

The Mayans didn't even think about our calender or the way we count years.The end of the world they predicted is actually the end of THEIR calender which is on 21.12.2012. in ours.

Deleted • 15 July 2012 at 3:31 PM

Didn't it already hit earth?

@essieh 😸 did you see the solar flare?
