20 attempts, no new creature egg...that normal?

So far I've made 20 attempts to get the creatures released on eggcave's birthday and not one was any of the three new eggs, is that normal? I see people with multiples of the new egg. I just want to make sure my cove doesn't have some sort of glitch, has anyone else yet to find a single new egg?

Yepp, Has happened to me before. Sometimes I never find LEs in the cave :c
