how do you make words links?

i have no idea how people can say something like the creature's name, for example, Macaw and make it a link to the creature. can someone tell me how to do it?

@muzb Like this [e=creature id number]words[/e] If you don't know what a creature's id number is there is a good explanation of where to find it in the FAQ. Also, any punctuation in the "words" part breaks the link. Hope this helps. 😊
