Falling Skies (Roleplay)

(Please note: I dont own anything from the genral idea of falling skies, it belongs to TNT) 😊

There has been a global invasion by by Extraterrestrials (including mechanical attack drones called "mechs", a race of humanoid yet green-skinned and six-legged beings known as "skitters" that appear to control the mechs and a third race little is known about, presumably the actual engineers of the invasion and masters of the skitters)

Within a few days after the invasion, the invaders neutralized the world's power grid and technology, destroy the militaries of all the world's countries, and apparently kill over 90% of the human population. Mostly adults. The aliens' objectives are not explained and are unknown to us, though the aliens try to round up children between the ages of 8 and 18 and attach a biomechanical obedience device onto (and into) their spines, referred to as a "harness." The harness controls the child's mind, and forcibly removing it generally kills the child.

This is about a group of children who have servived this phenomonon, some children have had the Biomechanical divise re-moved from there spines. Some just hid and servived, as they where lucky, none of us know a weakness toword these "mechs" or "Skitters". All we know is that;

WE MUST SERVIVE.

Personality: Shy and sweet, sometimes will be rude and stick up for herself but usually cant do that because of how shy she is.

Strength: Quick reflexes and great endurance
Looks: Rowan is tall with bright red hair down her back, usually braided or tied in a ponytail. She also has wild golden eyes and is built like a dancer or runner.
Personality: Rowan is a girl of few words, but she has a fierce demeanor that other people notice. She tends to isolate herself from people since the skitters took her parents, but if anyone does get close enough for her to call friend, she'd be unerringly loyal to them.

Okay I'll start:

Setting: An Old Wepon wearhouse in Arazonia

Samantha looked at all the others and picked up, Juno, her ferret who was all red. Alot of the other kids where at the boxes searching for wepons and other things to hurt the skitters and Mech's. So far no luck, and we had already lost 6 others.

Rowan stayed along the outer edges of the warehouse they were raiding. She jumped when she heard a rattling noise nearby. Quick as a wink, she raised a rusty knife and left a rattlesnake sliced in half in front of her. "Dinner," she whispered and returned to a box next to her.

Her golden eyes lit up as she pulled out a magnet with a number of small daggers clinging to it. Why there was a magnet amidst a weapon shed, she didn't know, but it still worked and could maybe cause problems for the mechs. The magnet disappeared into a pocket of her baggy jeans but left most of the daggers behind. She only kept two to replace the rusted one she already had. After that, the redhead resumed scavenging.

Samantha watched the others, because of her leader like status she didnt have to do mutch hevy lifting. Juno ran to an unopened box and started to hiss lightly as if there was something wrong. The box was rather large but Samantha got up and looked around wondering if anyone was about to open it.

Without a second thought she jabed her pocket knife into it and yanked hard the tape (Witch looked as if it had resently been put on) all fell off. She opened the box and glared at it for a moment in fear. The thing moved and jumped up holding some type of wepon. "SKITTER!" Samantha yelled to everyone after grabing Juno and jumping back.

Rowan snapped up again at the call of skitter rushing to the middle of the warehouse where it came from and threw her daggers at the beast. She hated those things more than feared them sometimes.

Samantha grabed a handgun and shot at it. It redirected its attention to her. The bullets only penitrated part of its skin. Enought to make it bleed though.

Jasper threw a knife at the Skitter. He had hit one of its leg. The creature's leg had started to bleed, although only a little. The blade wasn't sharp enough.

Samantha took out a large looking gun from the box they used to put things in that MIGHT hurt them. The glowing green yellow stuff that was inside shot out in light and put a hole through the skitters body. It let out a shrek of pain. 'It hurts them!' she thought. She grabed another and threw it towords Jasper. "Hurry and shoot!" She commanded. She shot a few more at it.

Jasper caught the gun and started shooting at the creatures. It reminded him of a video game, only without the 'restart' option.

Samantha shot at it a few more times and it crumpled to the ground. She shot at its neck to make sure it was dead.

Hazel took a knife and watched Jasper and Samantha trow knifes at the skitter. Hazel didn't really know what to do with her knife, she knew she had to kill the skitter with it, but she hesitated. Then looked and threw the knife, but then noticing that it was already dead. But she had already let go of her knife.

The knife had hit the skitters stomach, but it was no use.

Julia's first thought when she heard Samantha yell "Skitter," was to hide. Then she heard the thud of a body hitting the ground. Someone's hurt! She rushed toward where she heard the sound and saw a dead skitter. "How did you kill it?" asked Julia wide-eyed. She saw the hole in it's body and the gun in Samantha's hand. Then she noticed the green glowing yellowish stuff in stead of bullets. "What do you think that is? Acid," she asked.

"Does it matter? The monster's dead." Rowan said coldly and moved away because it was starting to stink. The desert heat is awful with stinky dead things, and strangely even more so with skitters. "Are there more of those guns round here?"

Julia started to rummage through the boxes. She tried to find more of those gun like stuff. She stopped. Were there anymore skitters around? She paused every 30 seconds. She searched the back of the warehouse looking for more guns...
