Rynn smiled slightly. "Its okay, You don't have to apologize." She said quietly. No one ever talked to her when she went to school, She was always alone. Even when they had to work in pairs she worked alone, there seemed to always be an odd-number in her class. Her mom had taken her out of school and tried to home school her, The truth was she really did miss school, Even though she did not learn like the other kids did. Her clouded Emerald eyes looked up at him. "I've always had Auto to keep me company, I remember the first day of school one year, Everyone freaked out because i brought a dog to school." She smiled and pet Auto, the dog behaved almost like a cat rubbing his head on her leg.

Alex shook her head, "I wasn't in there so I didn't manage to get a look at the murderer's face, sorry." She said and her forest green eyes shone with unsure tears. Her hair stuck out a lot because of its red streaks.

Katia nodded once more. 'Even with that, you said you glimpsed the murderers escape; did you see if they were big or small or something?' she asked again. She hated repeating things but she remembered to be patient with witnesses, it was unfair what they had to go through.

A smile streatched Xans' lips and he stepped from one foot to the other. He chuckled.
"Yeah... I think I do remember the principal freaking out over a dog. Was it your dog who took a chunk from her skirt?" she said unbelievingly. He distinctly remebered a large dog pouncing on their principal. The students had been rolling on the ground from laughter. He smiled again, wider.

As he was about to continue speaking again, the first raindrop landed straight on his nose.
"Ack." he exclaimed as the droplet trickled down his cheek. His head shot up, eyes trained at the sky. "Is it going to rain or am I going crazy?" he asked the girl absentmindedly.

A tall girl finally walked out of the house. Her eyes were redden and you couldn't tell what her true eye color was. She was shaking like a poodle and was ordered to sit down somewhere before she lost her balance and fell.

The girl looked around and stumbled over to Xans. "F-forty two caliber." She muttered a few details of the crime without knowing it before she fell to her knees blonde hair with hints of pink covering her face.

Rynn smiled "Yeah, Auto isn't the best around new people." She chuckled. Auto barked, apparently he also remembered. She remembered how much attention she had gotten when she brought Auto to school.
Rynn looked up, Her clouded Emerald eyes stared blankly upward. "What do you think Auto?" She asked the dog. Auto barked once and Rynn nodded "I think so too, It seemed kinda humid today." She said her gaze fell back in front of her. She smiled and giggled quietly as the dog walked around her in circles, tail wagging.

"I couldn't tell, I am sorry but I can't remember if I actually saw him. I was watching it happen but I had only opened the door slightly so I only saw Katherine and I heard the gun fire and watches her fall. I then heard footsteps but when I opened the door the murderer was gone."

"Yeah, I bet she's still freaked out of Auto." Xans chuckled in responce, looking at the dog. In usual circumstances, he would've reached down to pet the animal, but now when his hands were at risk of being bitten of, he preferred to save the petting for later.

"forty two Caliber" a feminine voice reached his ears and his head snapped to the left, justin time to see a blonde haired girl tumbling towards the ground. In time, he bent down and grasped her shoulder, preventing her from meeting the cold ground. He helped right herself, turning her to face him. As the previous raven head, this girl's face was stained with tears as well. He guessed another witness. Slipping a supporting hand under her shoulder, he helped her keep from falling and tugged on Rynn's arm.
"We better get going." he mumbled, loud enough for her to hear. He motioned towards his house, accross the block. "Come on. I live nearby." he offered.

Passing by the two chatting raven heads, he called out to them. "It'll start raining in a bit. Are you going to stay outside?" he asked, pointing to the two story garden house nearby. "You can continue your chat inside."

The girl looked up and was met with the nose of dog. She shrieked, but then came back to her senses. She held out her hand for the dog to smell her and then tried to manage smiled. Her stubborn personality completely faded. She acted like a child with a bad nightmare.

She looked up and held out her hand for help up, because she knew she could not manage it by herself. She pushed her hair out of her eyes that were finally turning that deep ocean blue.

Auto growled. The human had forgotten that Rynn was blind again. Rynn sighed "Lets go Auto." She whispered and held onto the dog's short leash. Rynn heard the large dog's low growl. "Don't blame him, He just forgot." Rynn whispered. Rynn flinched as she heard a loud shriek. "Would you please not do that again?" She asked Her clouded Emerald gaze stared out in front of her. Auto's low growl got louder as he lead his master after the humans. Rynn pet the large dog's head "Its okay Auto." The dirty blond haired girl whispered to her seeing eye dog.

The girl flinched and held on tightly to Xans. "S-sorry." The girls eyes were tinted pinkish as she was still recovering from what she just witnessed. "Man" She threw her hand to her mouth like she said something wrong. She just followed Xans not letting go of her grip for good reasons.

Rynn sighed. "Its okay." She mumbled. Auto growled again but was quickly shushed by Rynn. The dirty blond haired girl rolled her blind eyes at the Large dogs protective attitude. Rynn turned her head to the dog. His loud bark echoed lowly as a squirrel ran down a tree. "Auto no!" Rynn yelled, But Auto didn't listen. He ran to the tree and the squirrel ran back up the tree. Rynn on the other hand was not so lucky. Letting go of the leash she fell to the ground. She mumbled a cruse under her breath. "Auto, what did i tell you about Squirrels?!" The girl yelled as she pushed her self up, now sitting on the ground. Auto turned around quickly and whined like a pup. He walked back over to Rynn his ears back and his tail low. He nuzzled his face to her arm. The pale teenager sighed. "Next time, think about the person on the other side of your leash before you run off, Okay boy?" she said, The girl could never stay mad at the dog for long. She giggled as Auto licked her face. She pet the dog and he barked happily.

"D-do you need help up, Rynn? Your name is Rynn right?" Her hair got between the blind girl's eyes and her working eyes. She heard yelling from behind her and her head turned her head so quickly it hurt. "Ouch!" She whimpered.

"Jessabell!!" The boy ran up and looked around. "What happen where's Katherine?" Jessabell hid her tears as she slowly turned to the covered body being wheeled into an ambulance to a biopsy.

"John I could have done something, but I-" John hugged her and helped her on to his arm. He hugged her as he walked with all of them to wherever.

TRacing the boy and girl walking ahead, Xans smiled a bit. The girl (Jessabell if he was not mistaken) had needed exactly tht kind of gentle support at such a hard time.

Nodding absentmindedly, he turned to face Rynn who was still sitting on the dirty ground with Auto cuddling in her softly. He approached, crouching down beside her, but at a safe distance from the dog. He put a shoulder under hers and helped her up slowly, as the rain increased.
"Come on." he chuckled. "You're getting soaked. We better get going."

Alex stared down at the detective and then said, "I will join the others." She then followed the boy that she believed was named Xans. She walked over to where he and the other girl was and asked, "M-May I join you?" As she stuttered Alex couldn't believe what she had become. She would usually say that she was joining then whether they liked it or not but now she was different. Alex want being her usual bold self, she was acting like she was weak, she had changed so much.

Jessabell looked up at Alex. "Alex are you okay?" She knew that Alex had witnessed what she did and was a little shooken up. Jessabell quickly regained her normal personality for everybody else's sake. She needed to find the killer before he takes another life. She regain her posture and looked around. She turned into a completely different person. "Alex your going to be okay."

Rynn whistled loudly and Auto held his leash in his mouth. Rynn took the leash and pet the dog on his head. "Thanks" She whispered to Xans. Her gaze was fixed downward though she saw nothing. Auto pressed his head to Rynn's leg for a moment. The crowed had gotten bigger, though it was still only a few people, but it was just enough people to stop Rynn.
The girl had never been good around more then a few people, the more people, the more sound. The more sound, the more confused she would get. The only way she had learned to deal with the confusion is to get away from it as much as possible, To sit in the back with Auto in till the sound died down. She held the large dog's leash tighter, memories of going to school as a child circled in her brain.
Auto looked up at his master, he whined loud enough for everyone to hear. He hated when Rynn would just block everything out, just go into her own little world. How ever much the large dog hated it he had to admit, Rynn needed human friends, and she had always wanted them.
Rynn patted the dogs head "I'm fine, boy." she mumbled, Knowing what the dog had meet by whining.
Auto was not convinced. His master was not fine. She had stopped talking to the others, she didn't even look at them-not like she could see them anyway-, It was like how she was back in school. Never talking, staying alone as possible, and not even face anyone Just stare at the ground or in front of her.

Feeling that Rynn was slowing down a bit, Xans slowed his pace as well, walking behind the group, still holding the girl's arm.
"Are you... okay?" he hesitated to ask such a question, hence the realization that a girl like her wouldn't be comfortable in a big group. He reembered all too well that in school, she had been quite a closed up person, avoiding to talk with anyone. Despite that, he wondered why. She was kind and caring. It hit him like t hunder that it was because of her handicap that she had been avoided. To him, it seemed like a crime to do so. But he knew he wasn't the one to talk, having been avoiding her as well.

"Umm,... that was a.. stupid question to ask." he attempted to sound funny but failed to do so, as the sentence came out of his lips as an apology. He swallowed thickly. The dog was still growling at him while they neared his house. He tugged on Rynn's arm, guiding her through the rose bushes in the garden and towards the door.
"We're here." he announced to the whole group.

Taking out his key, reaching to unlock the door, but the handle turned freely before he;d done anything. He had forgotten to lock the house.
"Oh." he sheepishly motioned for the teens to come in, standing by Rynn's side again and waiting until everyone else entered before leading her inside.

Alex stared at Jessebell but ignored her, she wasn't in the mood for a lot of talking. She sighed and followed Xans and Rynn and just stared at the ground in sadness. She looked at the girl's dog and said, "That is an interesting dog you ave there." She didn't reach forward and try and pet the dog.

Rynn nodded slightly as he asked if she was okay. Auto stopped growling seeing that the human actually cared for his master, He was trying to help her. Rynn didn't say anything as they neared Xans home. She let out a yelp of surprise as she was pulled away from the roses. Auto barked once to show her she was okay, though Rynn did not respond. She inhaled slowly then mumbled "Roses."

She sighed softly. She had never been in anyone's home beside her own, Would it be the same? She had a feeling she would just stand by the door like she did on the first day of school. That was one thing she had hated about attending school. There were so meany kids and so meany desks and each room was designed in a different way. She would grow used to it by the middle of the year, only to have it replaced with another set of rooms the next year.

Auto stood at Rynn's side. He would not let her stand at the door like back at school. He would lead Rynn threw the house if he had to, One thing was for sure. He would do everything in his power to not let Rynn stand alone anymore. He looked into the home, it was simple yet very different from Rynn's home.

Rynn looked up as she heard someone talking about Auto. "His name is Auto." She mumbled, her gaze still fixed on the ground. Auto growled as the human tried to pet him. "Be nice." Rynn mumbled and he sat down.

Alex stared at the dog, "He must really care for you, he is very protective of you." She commented as the dog growled, "He is very well trained, you are lucky to have sucha good friend." She told the girl and smiled faintly at her, she looked at the girl and realized that she had cloued eyes. She was blind, Alex realized but she didn't say it out loud. She just looked at the girl, "Hey aren't you in my class? Yeah I remeber you, you are the cool girl that brought the dog to class, that was pretty cool." She said with a smile.

Rynn still did not meet the other girls gaze. "I trained him, mostly." She mumbled. Auto looked around, seeing yet another squirrel. He was about to run but then looked up at Rynn. He whined softly. "Fine, you can go. Just don't kill it okay?" Rynn mumbled to the dog and let go of his leash. He ran across the road and chased a squirrel up a tree. he stood at the tree and barked for a moment before running back to Rynn. "I bring him everywhere," Rynn mumbled to Alex. "Well, I should say he brings me." She took hold of Auto's leash once more and the dog sat down at her side his tail wagging.

Alex realized that the girl seemed shy, "Yeah, how long have you had him? It seems like he has known you forever." She said and loked at the dog, she loved dogs. She seemed truely interested in Rynn and Alex was actually happy to be talking to someone that didn't bring up the murder.

Guiding Rynn to the living room and the couch, he motioned for everybody else to make themselves comfortable and sit down. At the detective's question, he shook his head, a 'no'. There wasn't anybody else he could think of at the moment. He stood in the doorway and turned around to face them. Everybody was soaked and the house was pretty cold. He himself was dripping water on the carpet so hurried upstairs to change into new clothes. After coming down, he poked his head thriugh the living room door.
"Does anybody want coffee or a warm drink? I've got a coffee machine and some tea because of reasons." he chuckled slightly, attempting to break the sorrowful atmosphere. He disliked sadness with a passion. "And if anybody wants, I can bring dry clothes." he offered.

Rynn thought for a moment, she could not remember ever being without Auto. "Well, I don't know I guess I've always had him." She mumbled. Her gaze was still fixed on the ground and Auto glared at his master. He barked a few times at her and hit her leg lightly with his tail. She rolled her blind eyes at the K9. She seemed to almost know what he was saying. Rynn sighed and looked up, her gaze finally meeting the girl in front of her.

Rynn jumped slightly at another voice. Auto rubbed his head on her leg trying to calm her. Rynn's gaze fixed back on the ground and she held Auto's leash tightly. She walked slowly into The unformulated home and stood at the door. She didn't move from her place, Auto sat at her side. Her back stayed pushed on the wall, she was afraid she would trip over something, or walk straight into a wall. Auto slowly tried to lead his master away from the door but she didn't move, her blind stare fixed on the floor.

Alex looked at Rynn and nodded, "Oh, I am Alex by the way, we might have met in class." She said in a friendly manner and she looked at the dog with a smile, the two seemed to be two parts of a whole. She looked at Xans and shook her head, "No I am good." She told him and then turned her gaze back towards the girl. Alex felt wet but she didn't feel cold, she loved the cold and it took very low temperatures before Alex admitted to being cold. Alex looked at the detective and said, "Ask Jessebell, she might know something."
