Lucid Dreams

So I posted above about the app I downloaded... I tried it again last night, set the timer for an hour... Except, it was strange last night.

When the timer went off, I think I was still awake... But later on, when I was dreaming, there was some container of sugar cookies. The cookies were shaped like stars, and they were supposed to make you fall asleep with one bite... So I grabbed like 6 cookies out of the container and said, "Maybe I can use them to help me with lucid dreaming..."It wasn't a lucid dream, but I had mentioned lucidity, and now I'm confused. 😱 Could this mean that I'm close? 😃

And then I had some random dream that they had released the music video for my favorite new song (which they haven't yet), and then I was walking down some hallway with a bunch of other people and I saw like my parents, my sister, and my cousins. O_o

Last night I had a weird lucid dream where I was a pokemon and started to beat everyone else up...

@chowchow2012 I am currently trying to lucid dream. How do you guys do it? What techniques do you use?

I sometimes have dreams that I am lucid dreaming but I don't count that as lucid dreaming. What do you think?

I can have around 3 lucid dreams in a week, then other times I could go a month without any. I love the amount of control they give me over how I respond to the people around me in the dream. Having one is a blessing because most of my dreams are nightmare ending with me dying or getting hurt 90% of the time.

I had an awesome dream a few nights ago involing a huge mansion which just made blissfully happy, and I pinched myself in the dream to make sure I was definitely asleep- the thing is, it actually hurt O.o I must have pinched myself in the real world XD
