Saw the post about a yearly wish day and I had a better/different idea...

What if, every now and then, on a random day - you don't know it's coming - a certain number of a certain rare creature is re-released for purchase with either CC or EC. That way, it brings new life to some of the dead-end creatures that no one is trading anymore because they're all too precious, but it also makes sure that they stay rare.

For example, say tomorrow there was suddenly a notice that there were 50 Adarnas for sale at the Cash Shop - they'd sell out quickly and get traded around, but since there are only a few new ones, they would still be special. Or it could be something like the Calla, released in the SAR, but with a limited number and a high EC cost.

It would also be a good way to bring something exciting to months that don't have holidays (August-September for instance), in between waiting for the new monthlies.

I have no idea who to ping on this.

I agree, but i think 50 is too many, maybe like 20, it depends what creature it is.

oh okay xD lol yeah it depends on the rarity of things, like i dont really think they should re-release macbot or doovoo, if they did, they should only release 1 or 2

@faybaybay right. i would trust the mods to be able to tell which one deserves a re-release (i'm thinking nym or tine or adarna, something that's on ERRYONE'S wishlist but if you have it you don't want to trade it) etc etc. if they were super special to begin with, they definitely shouldn't be doled out randomly.

Yeah, right. If they released 100 doovoo's they wouldnt really be rare anymore. I do love adarnas though, but people will get mad because maybe they bought an adarna recently for 800CC or something & it's being released for 500 again

Maybe like just one a person so several people can get theirs 😋 and it wouldn't be like one rich user buys them all. So everyone can have a fair chance 😊

I dislike this because the rarity would die like roos, florns, and foos when they were available at christmas.

yes, that would work. and the people who already have one could choose to buy another to trade once they're all out - and @faybaybay, that would be a way to fix that problem, too. as in, if you just bought one for 800cc, you can get one for 500 and then sell it for more once the limited number are gone.

@xxebonyxx yeah, that's why i would definitely leave the exact number up to a mod, someone who knows the site traffic better.
