Background Problems

Whenever I buy a new travel it takes like 5 minutes for it to actually show up on my creature. I know it's not a super big problem but I do hope it can be fixed because I would appreciate for my travels to come instantly.

Thats normal...it usually takes a while for it to actually show up

It has always been this way since the begining...it just does cause i guess it takes a long time to get to the place they are going! ( 😃 )

The reason is that every browser stores a temporary copy of every image in its cache in order to speed up browsing so it doesn't have to display the same images over again - it can simply pull it out of the cache.

Unfortunately, while you get MUCH faster browsing, that means that images don't update as often as they should.

In order to remedy this, clear your browsers cache after adding a travel if you'd like to see the travel immediately.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Sometimes it depends on your computer as well. I find it really helpful to clear my browser's cache if the travel does not appear right away.

you need to clear your cache 😸 google it if you don't know how 😋 or you can refresh a bunch of times. this also happens if you change your creature's name

usually it shows up the next day for me cause i just let it do what it wants to do! (same with names)

Sometimes I find if you refresh your PROFILE page (not just go to again, refresh) the backgrounds show up immediately. I'm using Safari do I don't know if that makes a differance 😊
