in the midst of moonpaws dream everything was foggy. "h-hello?" she asked. Fear was creeping into her. What is this place? Through the mist she saw a black shape but it quickly darted away. A badger? No, it was to fast....a fox? No...it was black... Moonpaws fur stood up on end. How could I defend myself? I'm a medicine cat apprentice! She heard a sharp crack and she whirled around, a black cat was mouse lengths away from her. "eeeeeeee!" moonpaw screeched. "shush. I'm here to show you your power." the black cat said. "but I don't know you an- wait, aren't you shadowclaw?!" she remembered how nasty he could be. "you guessed right little one, now try running, and put your all into it." shadowclaw said the disappeared in the smoke.then everything turned black. @cqpkytty

moonpaw woke up confused. Run? She was a horrible runner. "well I might as well try.." she started running and was surprised to be going so fast. "this is pret- aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!" she screeched as she rocketed through the cavern. The wind rushed through her fur as she raced on. "heeeeeelp!!!!" moonpaw screeched.

Miststar's eyes widened. She swooped through the air as fast as she could and sunk her claws into Moonpaw's fur, trying to lift her up.

She felt stings into her back "ahhhhhh!" moonpaw was terrified. She imagined all the things that could be attacking her and ran faster. She took a turn to the left then to the right and saw a dirt wall up ahead and managed to skid to a stop by digging her claws into the moist ground and her attacker flew off her back...

Miststar flew off Moonpaw's back. She shook her head to clear it, still in the air, and renewed her grip on Moonpaw. She lifted Moonpaw off the ground (though it was only by half a tail-length - flying was a lot harder when you were carrying someone!) and started back to camp.

But before leafstream could finish her sentence, Maplepaw had already dashed after a plump, gray mouse. After a little while, Maplepaw came back empty-pawed.
(is that how you'd say it? Or is it empty mouthed?)
"It ran into it's hole..." she said glumly.
