Whirl wasn't quite as good at flying as the two warriors, so it took her a while to reach the forest. When she got there, she looked tired and out of breath. "I told you guys to slow down!" she whined. "I'm not as fast as a warrior!"

Forged stared at Sunspots, startled. "Wha-what?" She started, "The HUMANS?! They know the pact, they are not allowed ANYWHERE near Ka'lee, and they know it!" She paused. "But why would they want our gems? They have no use for them, except--" She suddenly stopped, knowing why. "Sunspots... have you heard of the Legends of O'aieron?"

"Well," She started, "O'aieron was a fierce Warrior Dragon, one of our strongest and most dangerous ancestors." Forged sighed. "I shall spare you the gruesome details of our battles with him as High Warrior. He used the power of the Gems to make our armies more powerful then ever. But what he did not realize is that the Gems are also used by the Humans as Weapons. They carve them into spears, bows, swords, any weapons you can name, these Gems can be carved to be so sharp they can pierce a Dragons hide. Our past leaders finally confiscated them all from the Humans, and only very small pieces are sold in their Black Markets. And if a Mage was to get their hands on a piece and a Scroll of Bones..." She stopped and sighed. "All of the Dragons lives will be gone with a snap of their Mages' paws.

Sunspots called on the dragons and started flying towards the forest where whirl was training. Sunspots told the dragons to wait and she dove towards the three dragons below. "hi need you three to come with me. We are going to get rid of the humans( explains what forged told her)."

sunspots glided through the air searching the forest for the clearing she landed in and angled her wings to make a sharp turn and she faced the group of dragons. " we don't want to attack the humans. we just want to threaten them to scare them away, we don't want to start a war!" sunspots slowly glided into the clearing below and landed in the soft grass, but wait something felt strange. Sunspots scented the air and froze. Something smelled HORRIBLE and the human scent was fading. Something wasn't right she turned around and saw one big eye staring at her, it was a cyclops. Sunspots quickly turned around and yelled up to the dragons,"fly away, quickly its not safe!" she was about to fly up as well but something grabbed her tail. "an-and don't look ba-back!" she started squirming but another giant hand grabbed her back so that her wings were pushed onto her back. "looks like I've found myself a little birdie!" a female voice exclaimed behind her.

Y'liath swerved around when her heard Whirl's cry and the strange, human-like voice. "A cyclops?!" he muttered, circling around out of the humanoid's line of sight. "Didn't they make a pact to stay away from our hunting grounds?"

From what he could tell, the cyclops was female, and most likely not here alone. There were probably others scourging the forest for food. Drifting slowly out of his hiding place towards the cyclops, so as not to frighten it, Y'liath descended and wrapped his claws around a stout branch of oak. "Greetings," he spoke, ignoring the struggling Whirl in the cyclops's hands,"I am Y'liath, of the Weyr. May I ask what you are doing in our hunting grounds?"

Okay, so let me do the apprentice ceremony, (no name changes and what-not) I just pretty much name your mentor and to the ceremonial First-Hunt. (I Hunt with you, to show that you are ready to be an apprentice.) You have to catch an animal, and its your to do with it.
I shall announce it later.

Oops, forgot to mention that. High Nester helps take care of the nestlings and Eggs, and the High Warrior helps the other Warriors train the apprentices. The High Warriors also have a job like the Deputy. The Deputy tell the Warriors the jobs they have to do, and the High Warrior tells them where. They also take the Deputy's place when they become an Elder or die until a new Deputy is appointed.

Water Whisper pricked her ears, which were hidden behind layers of tough scales.
She had heard Whirl scream.
Whisper snarled, unfurled her long wings, and circled her nest again. Whatever had made Whirl scream so loudly had better watch out when she was old enough to shred it from tail to toe.

Forged stood up suddenly. "Whisper, I know your not an apprentice yet, but you will be very soon! Go and find the other Dragons I have sent out, and report back to me! Don't do anything stupid, you got it?" Forged then started pacing worriedly around the camp, lost in fearful thoughts.

The cyclops paused to look at the newcomer, still holding the young dragon. "No food. Must eat what find," it mumbled, looking at Whirl, and licked her lips in anticipation of a meal.

Y'liath dug his claws into the trunk. Going on aggressive could get Whirl in very serious danger, especially if this cyclops were to alert her friends. He knew that diplomacy would be the best option in this case, but if any other dragons were to attack, the situation will turn ugly. "There are many other things to eat," he spoke calmly,"There are humans further west. Many humans, not as fast as forest animals. You can eat them, but eating one of our dragons would break the truce."
