Why not @Ian do CC trade? Its like most people still do CC trade. No matter what happen. Even they got scammed. They still go for CC trade? Wouldnt it make some of us happy when we can offer CC on trades instead of sending them as gift when we know its really for trade? Why make it so hard when there's an easy way? Not everyone could buy CC. Some of us need to go for a hard way, Feed Coves and seek users that would accept EC then go sell the creature for CC, To trade by Gifting are just not safe. Why not just help us who wants to trade for CC. By adding CC as another Currency on trade wont harm much I think, Plus its a safer way to trade. Then no more users posting topic or complaining, "Just got Scammed", "This person doesnt send me CC" and so on. Wouldnt that just be much easier? People who buy CC would still buy CC to trade. I dont see @Ian have anything to lose anyway. Its not that people wont still Feed Cove. People who cant get CC, That just started Egg Cave would still need to feed Cove to earn EC. Still need to keep their creature alive. Even with the help of Tim's, We still need EC to pay Tim's. And we still need EC to buy some creatures. Not all things need CC really, But I do think we really need CC trade rather than just Gifting, Its just not safe. And people still do it. Why not make it more fun by adding CC as Currency for trade just like EC. Even 1 CC makes a different when you need it.

Perhaps, Do Trials? See what or how people react to this?

@frozens this would not work because @ian gets billions of pings every day! So it would take a while (what if the person needs it urgently!) and/or he would forget so the thing is you have to trade with pepeole that you trust thats it!

@frozens @pablo2012

This has been suggested before. Here's the reason why this feature has not been added to the Trade Center.

The main reason is that CaveCash is meant to maintain an inherent, fixed value as a currency. Trading CaveCash would allow the currency's value to "float" too much, potentially devaluing it. If CaveCash were to become devalued, owners of Cash Shop Park creatures would be quite disappointed. ☹️

Let me know if you have any more questions.

@ian

I'm still not sure I agree with that.
Buuuuuut...what do I know?

It doesn't really matter to me either way because I am often able to buy CC. But I just fail to see how something in such high demand can really be that badly hurt if traded. I'm not trying to argue maliciously or anything, I'm truly not. I'm just not quite sure I understand the full economics behind it.^^

@Ian
But, Most of us who actually buy CC wants to keep our creatures and keep them for future trades. And some that cant buy CC are still wanting CC. Why not just perhaps do trials on this? See how people react instead? I dont see any harm if just in a week or so.

@metaphor @frozens

From an economics standpoint, it's really hard to explain.

If CaveCash were officially traded, the value would not only "float," but it would also greatly interfere with the value of the EC (Egg Coin) because of CaveCash's high demand. If CaveCash were officially traded, you can only imagine how many more people would begin using this as leverage in the Trade Center. A lot of people would want to trade for CaveCash, get it, and use it. But what would happen to the EC (Egg Coin)? It's not necessarily that people would stop using EC to barter and trade, but that its value would plummet in the face of CaveCash. That's what could potentially happen, which I have to prevent to preserve the entire game, really.

It may seem like it "strangles" the economy to not have CaveCash trading. But there are certain invisible laws that operate behind the scenes that directly govern the value of both currencies. One slight change could put the living organism that is Egg Cave's economy into jeopardy. This is, ultimately, why there is no feature for CaveCash trading.

I hope that this makes sense.
