Okay, so I just saved this wild sparrow from being pecked to death by a crow, she is in a 10 gallon tank with bird seed, water, a white towel for comfort and a homemade nest out of brush, She is missing some feathers on her head and stomach, she is missing a few tail feathers too, what can I also do to help "Pip"? Its cold and rainy outside so i dont want to let her go yet, nor get her too used to human contact.

Does Pip look like she has any broken limb? Is she able to fly or walk properly? I would try to find a vet because they might know what to do to@stellieI don't have a bird but that's what I'd do

@mastergemmaShe can fly a little, but no more than 2 ft of the ground and there is no exotic animal vet near my area

It wouldn't need to be an exotic vet, just a normal vet because they should know how to keep an eye on birds as well@stellie

@mastergemmaAll vets are way out of my area, my grandma isnt willing to drive an hour in heavy rain like this

@stellie She's a sparrow? Keep her until you think she can fly away or when she willl be o.k. outside. Sparrows eat berries, some nuts, and insects like moths. Try finding a vet, the vet will know what to do! 😊 Well, find one when you can.
