Beetle problems D8

So on Monday, there were these weird worm-like bugs in our house. They crawled to the corners of our living room, where the wall meets the ceiling, and they made little cocoons there. My dad tried to vaccum them, but it had no effect, so he wiped them off with a paper towel.

I saw a beetle crawling on my bed yesterday, and I FREAKED. OUT. I asked my mom about it, she said: "If it had dots or stripes, then they like to live in furniture. If it was just a plain beetle, then it's fine." I mean... The bug on my bed was black, and it was white in the middle... So technically NOT a stripe...

We have about 3 feet of backyard, and then there are the woods, so we get lots of bugs. Or at least, that's how I reassure myself.
There's a pile of "stuff" next to my bed. ._. I got paranoid, so I looked through it today to make sure there were no bugs. I saw another beetle on the carpet, half-dead, and I saw a little spider running away as well.

My dad just found two more of the wormy bugs and wiped them off the walls. D8

I'm so paranoid, and I don't know if that's a good thing or not. GIVE ME SOME REASSURANCE. D8

Maybe they're zombie bugs and they only came to nom on your brains 😉 That's as reassuring as it gets!

@dreamer: I have these really weird, small, quick black worm-like thingies in our house. They're yellow on the bottom, and I HATE them. They freak me out, because they can turn and move really quickly. D: I live by the woods, too, and we have a ton of spiders and dead ladybugs in our house. D: Whoops, I don't think I'm reassuring you... xD

@Awesomeness365 Actually... That IS kinda reassuring. This thing seems to be common in wooded areas... Same way there are ticks and mosquitos all over the place, but they're not infesting us. 😋

@Pirateseaz Nahh. Zombies are too overrated for me to take them seriously 😋

@dreamer I live by the woods too, we mostly get these tiny brown bugs with loooooooooong antennae, they are very fast O.O We also get those little black ants sometimes 😋 As for weird worm things, I've only seen those once rooting around in the outside trashcan.

@dreamer: Same!! We also have these GIANT ants in our house. They're a lot bigger than those normal big ones. o.O Thankfully there aren't any ticks, because I think I would die. xD I've hated ticks a lot ever since I've read that some carry Lyme disease. O_O Yeah, there's not many mosquitoes... except for this really big one in our house. It got me afew times. D:

@awesomeness365 I got lyme disease once ☹️ I was so scared because I though I was gonna dye. I was put on some antibiotics and it was eventually cured.

Get some beetle spray, don't leave out any good, and make sure they can't live in there. Kill any you see. Hide under your covers.
Kill the beetle queen spawning them from your roof.
Panic.

I have arachnophobia. Actually, I'm terrified of all bugs, but spiders (any size, poison or not) are THE WORST. ;A;

If I had the choice to either walk through a web full of spiders or die, I'd be preparing myself for death. The mere thought of touching all those spiders is terrifying D'8

@Awesomeness365 Ugg, I see ants in my house sometimes, they're so annoying! My mom always goes on the porch at night, and moths and mosquitos and tiny flies get in the house. Every once and a while, you'll see this REALLY big 'squito flying around, and then we take him down. 😈
We get TONS of ticks around here! I've only ever had two (and they hadn't attached yet), but my dog gets tons of them. Last year, she got a really big one D8 They dig in her fur and they can stay there for days before we notice them.
Bees, too. Not a huge amount, but every once and a while, there will be a big bee on our front porch, and I refuse to go out there. I'm mildly afraid of bees, but I've never been stung before.

My room is so terrible right now. T-T Well, I have spider buddies in my room. To be honest, I've mostly gotten over my fear of them because I see them so often. Last year there was a stinkbug on my ceiling, that freaked me out. A june bug got in, that freaked me out, too. But I also get the occasional ant or something, they don't bother me. However, my house has a HORRIBLE flea problem. The dogs, cats, have it. I wouldn't be surprised if my fish had some swimming around with them. xD But, it's terrible 'cause the dogs walk in, and then fleas jump off, breed, and just create more. They spawn like... 1,000 daily. T-T As soon as I walk in my room, I see like three on each leg, and they're annoying when they bite you, sometimes they even hurt. And I've tried to get rid of them, but anything I try never works. Maybe I should just abandon my room for a few days and they'd run out of blood and die out. xD

Also, I do get ticks at my grandma's, and they don't bother me anymore, either. Little suckers... Ha ha.

well your problem is ot as bad as mine my house is practially infested with ants and little brown moths and flys and all kinds of bugs and beetles mostly moths and fleas and annoying cats namec chuch who wake you up at three in the morning to burrow in your blankets.

My house got invaded by ants. I woke up the other morning and there was a whole army of them next to my bed on the wall! I freaked out, and started cursing and yelling. Then I took a shower. o_o

We have tons of spiders, beetles, moths, ants, and more creepy stuff. They all live in our walls. 😃
I say you should go on a killing spree and murder all the bugs. 😉
