eCode for Forum Topics

Since the EggCave Forums have become a big part of the community, why not make it easier to share topics? Sure, there's #hashtags, but who can keep up with all the posts that have the same hases?

So, here's my idea:
eCode for forum topics.
Example: [forum=11111]Click here to visit Forum Topic #11111[/forum]
or, it can be shortened to: [f=11111]Forum Topic #11111[/f]

Any input, support, and suggestions are welcome!

@FuzzyDragon I think it's a good idea! A forum search button would be a good idea too, and I suggested it once.

@whitefire Oh, that would be great! And there should be an option of searching posts made by a user, and Topic titles.

I agree! It would be so much easier to post on people's wall to come visit.

I hate having to copy and paste in the browser, especially when my mouse wouldn't work.

Also a Topic search would work way better! I absolutely despise Twitter and see no reason or easy way to use the hashtags.

@fuzzydragon I'd like it to be changed to [topic=xxxxx][/topic] though.

"Definition for online forum:
An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages."

A "forum" is not the actual topic or the section that the topic is posted in. That's just my opinion though 😊

True, but if you were to shorten it, the eCode would be exactly the same as a trade lot's ([t=****]). And the 'forum' in ([forum=****]) is short for 'forum topic'.

But I see where you're going, and that could be a variation for the eCode, too 😉
