I think it would be a good idea if there was a potion that could be bought with EC to resurrect dead creatures I know a lot of people who started playing and weren't quite sure how to keep them alive and came back a few weeks later to find their cove dead. I would say put the cost very high, over 1m EC so people don't abuse it and have to work hard to save up to get their creature back.
lynncrow • 25 August 2012 at 11:35 PM
@lunacharm1037i dont think that would work :/i dont think its a bad idea but there would have to be some kind of time limit for it to be considered otherwise a user who quit a long time ago could just come back and bring back their onny and get tons of creatures
lunacharm1037 • 25 August 2012 at 11:39 PM
@lynncrow That's why there's such a high cost....they'll have to do A LOT of feeding if they're going to bring back an entire dead cove, maybe increase EC cost to 2 or 3m to make it even harder? Plus if someone who left a long time ago knew there was a chance they could get a few old creatures back they're more likely to start playing again.
linpug • 25 August 2012 at 11:41 PM
Maybe, if they have died in the past month/year. ^^ I wouldn't like to disrupt the egg cave rarity π
lynncrow • 25 August 2012 at 11:43 PM
@linpug exactly ^^@lunacharm1037*pokes linpug's comment*
lunacharm1037 • 25 August 2012 at 11:45 PM
Ok, how about a 6 month limit then?
lynncrow • 25 August 2012 at 11:50 PM
@lunacharm1037i think a 1 month limit would be fairest...otherwise people would revive le creatures that were out for a couple months that got really popular
ladybugheart • 25 August 2012 at 11:53 PM
This has beed suggested quite a few times. I would personally find this very useful, but at the same time I'm not sure if it would work. To be totally honest, I've always hated when a Cave Cash creature dies, considering they cost real money, so I do see the advantages to this. ^^ On the other hand, some say that it could mess up the values, and this too is a good point. If the pros and cons to this idea were worked through and it was eventually implemented, I personally would be pleased.Edit:On the point of time limits and costs; I personally think the cost should remain a reasonable price but not too low. One to two million EC seems good to me. But as for time limits, I believe it should be fairly long if there is a limit at all.

Actually, if you send a ticket to Ian listing the creatures' names and a valid reason to revive the dead creatures, he will do so for free. πAs long as he still has the creature's data, of course π
lunacharm1037 • 26 August 2012 at 12:05 AM
We're mainly talking about CC creatures then right? I don't think it would affect rarity all that much if a player came back a few months later and resurrected a CC creature after all they paid 500CC ($5) and it's not like I'm saying people should be able to get previous creatures they never had before. IMO having stuff a bit less rare might help things, Nym's trading for 2500CC? that's a bit ridiculous....this place should be fun not something that drains your bank account.

@lunacharm1037 Read my post π
kaplooosh • 26 August 2012 at 12:17 AM
@lunacharm1037 i thought this was a good idea because kinda like @lynncrow said, i'd bring back all my rare creatures. but also, like @lynncrow said, it WOULD disrupt the rarity count :/this whole idea is really interesting though, i'd like to see it work out somehow
lunacharm1037 • 26 August 2012 at 12:21 AM
@eclipse, thanks I didn't know that still though I think it will be cool to have a way to do it ourselves.
eggs • 26 August 2012 at 12:26 AM
@lunacharm1037 @lynncrow @linpug @ladybugheart @eclipse @kaploooshI have a similar, but a bit different idea here π #Creaturerevivalweek
lunacharm1037 • 26 August 2012 at 12:30 AM
@eggs I like that idea too! Hopefully something can be implemented.
eggs • 26 August 2012 at 12:37 AM
@lunacharm *nods* πΈ The only difference in my idea is that the price is less than 1 million EC but you can only do it in 1 special week every year. What do you think? π
goku • 26 August 2012 at 12:38 AM
@lunacharm1037This has been suggested so many timesπYes...and No.Yes:It would be GREAT to get our 5$ or favorite creature(s) backNo:Because it would screw up the rarities. If a creature you brought with 5$ dies, that's a sign you don't quite have enough responsibility yet to be spending large amounts of money on your ownπOverall:No. Dying is mostly HOW creatures become rare in the first place=)
yogurt • 26 August 2012 at 12:41 AM
@lunacharm1037I would say that it would only work if there was a time limit of 3 days and after three days it won't work. (: that way it won't mess up rarities and Ian will get some extra money. Edit: and It should be CC not EC. (:
goku • 26 August 2012 at 12:45 AM
@yogurt Ian wouldn't gain money off of EC:/
yogurt • 26 August 2012 at 12:47 AM
@gokuoh! It was EC? O-o I though it was CC..Edited my post lol XD
goku • 26 August 2012 at 12:50 AM
@yogurt OkπMaybe 500CC and a 5 Day limit :/
ladybugheart • 26 August 2012 at 12:52 AM
@goku"It would be GREAT to get our 5$ or favorite creature(s) back"I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but I agree that receiving $5 back when a creature dies would be helpful without the rarity problem. πAlthough, to tell the truth, I can't really imagine being able to resurrect creatures having a huge impact on rarity. π
goku • 26 August 2012 at 12:55 AM
@ladybugheartIf there were 10 Foo's:7 Died Leaving 3.They became SUPER Rare!But, the people revived the 7 Foo's, and another Foo that had died a month ago. That make's 11 Foo's making them less rare than before.
kaplooosh • 26 August 2012 at 1:08 AM
@gokuyou make a very good point
goku • 26 August 2012 at 1:13 AM
@kaploooshThanksπ
