Is it just me, or are names becoming harder to come by?

You know what, it's probably just me, cuz I'm so picky about names.😋 That said, I might update this with a list of untaken names, as I've always loved doing that. So just stay tuned. I might get started tonight.😊

@metaphor

I get names from different languages, or name them put //CoughZathiaCough//

But, I also like English names/ Japanese names and get mad when they're taken XD

Names tend to mean more to me than rare creatures. I know many look down upon name hoarders or whatever, but really.

I'd rather have my Chimera named Hero than an Onny named fluffy049559959493995 any day.😋 Sure, names can be changed, but once one is taken, that's it. Some creatures may be hard to come by, but chances are you'll get an Onny or Macbot eventually if you really work for it. There is more than one in circulation.

And no, I'm not trying to downplay the patience that comes with waiting and waiting and saving a good offer for one of those more elusive creatures. I say it could be just as rewarding as getting a good name, if not more so. It's just how I am. Very, very picky.

Yes they are. I may trade some of my others to you but I will always keep my Death. ^^

Yeah, back when I was new, pretty much any name I wanted was available. I used to hog a lot of creatures just for their names. xP Now it seems like most of the good ones are taken...

I've always been pleased with the names of my creatures, it's taken a long, long time to find decent names. And the feeling of finding a good name is amazing. ^^ Although nowadays, I agree, it's becoming very difficult to find decent names, which is a shame. But, even so, I'd rather have a good name than a rare creature too. 😊

Well, this situation is only going to get worse. As time goes on, good names get taken. So, eventually we'll have to name our creature 3kitty2_32! XD

I either look for words from other languages and think about what would sound nice as a name or I just make something up. 😊

Make you creatures name into a languague of love!

Ex: You want to name you creature Light, but that is take so then you take the word and add: "a" to the end and make it flow, now you have ligha 😊

Lately, I've been moving on to author names as they are names I like and tend to not be taken. That can be hard too, but it works well enough.😊

@metaphor Sweet! Yeah, if you don't name your creatures fast enough they can leave 😱

True. But usually, if a name I like is taken, I'd either change it to a similar name of add a '_' or a '-' infront of the name.

See, I'm not really for the underscore thing. xD
But I honestly salute anyone who isn't as shallow as I am when it comes to names.

I don't like the under scores either

Like, I named my mo EmberMyst. Which would be Ember Myst separated, but I don't like the _ so I just capitalized the second word.
