@charm556 My dad told me that is she came to Alberta she would perform in Calgary. My dad also said that if she made a new album to tour and she came to Calgary he would take me to the concert 😃

I've had the new Ke$ha song, "Die Young," stuck in my head ever since it was released on Tuesday. By Wednesday afternoon, I had memorized it.
I was a big Ke$ha fan last year, but I wanted to stray away from that part of me since my dad downright HATES her. But you know, I think I have SOME rights to be able to express my music taste.
Ke$ha gets so much hate... People say she's trashy, sleazy, careless, stupid, a bad influence for kids. Whether you'd like to believe it or not, she is talented. To be able to WRITE over 100 songs, and especially to write #1 hits? That takes talent. She's a bad influence for LITTLE kids... But I know better, and Ke$ha actually inspires me. She inspired me to get more serious about a music career in the future. She inspired me to express myself and be proud of it. She's inspired me to take care of the things that matter, but then still have a little bit of fun before you die.
Whenever I'm upset, I throw on one of her songs, and it makes me feel better. It agives me hope, it tells me that life isn't horrible, and it gives me determination.
I'm an Animal, and now I'm proud of it. 😸 No one can take that away from me.
