Sighing, Storm people-watched. It was dreadfully boring in the cellar, but Storm didn't hold anything against Sky. "My dear lady..." A prince began, but with a glare, Storm sent him on his way. "I suppose I'll be married off soon..." She murmured to no one in particular.

"So, how did you end up being a guard in Zayfiden castle, anyway?" said Elia curiously, tilting her head a bit and grabbed a lock of her golden blonde hair, noticing that it was all messed up and started combing it with her fingers.

Sigmund started slightly at the unexpected question. He thought for a moment, sitting down beside Elia and drawing a knee up, leaning a should against the wall. "They must have taken a fancy to me," he answered ponderously. "When I was small, I loved to fight. I trained myself with a sword - not without the help of a friend, of course. A connection to the royals found me when I was out scuffling with him, in fact." He smiled at the memory. "And so... I've been here ever since." He leaned his head back against the wall. "What about you?"

Elia stopped messing with her hair and thought for a moment, thinking about how to tell Sigmund she came from the Elve's Kingdom.
"Uhm.."
She turned her head and pulled her hair away from that side, revealing a somewhat long, pointed ear that she somehow manages to always cover with her long hair.

Sigmund's gaze slid up to Elia's exposed ear. He glanced down at the floor, as if looking at an Elf's ear for too long was disrespect. "Oh," he responded shortly, back to his curt self.

Elia put her hair back down.
"I use to be a young princess in the Elve's Kingdom, living like there was nothing wrong with the world. But the dwarves attacked my Kingdom and my father sent me off on Shadowmere, my horse who was only a teenager when we left. I stumbled into Zayfiden and a man took me in, practicing me with weaponry and hoping that I could proabably become a guard and live a better life in this Kingdom instead of the village, but the man died when I turned 14 and left for the castle."
Elia held back tears at the remembrance of the man who took care of her.
