I feel bad sometimes because of this.....

I have insomnia. It basicallly means I have trouble sleeping alone. Sometimes I feel like my parents are criticizing me for needing to sleep with one of them. I just feel bad because they're not getting enough sleep and it's because I need them to sleep with me. Any advice?

@izzfred This might sound a little weird but you could try getting a camera and a laptop then take a picture of your parents then load it on your laptop and set it beside you so you can see your parents.

@izzfred Bubbles and all that good stuff. SOmetimes I wish my bathtub was bigger so I can swim in it.

Deleted • 30 September 2012 at 9:57 AM

@monchhichi01 I don't want it to be something that big and I don't want them to know that I got that advice off of the internet

@taunter hmmm. I haven't done bubbles in a looooong time.

If you have a pet that's big enough, stick it in your bed.
Or, you could get really tired and plop into bed squeezing something big and fluffy?
Keep your eyes shut.

I sometimes cant sleep with out a person with me either. I have 2 pillows with beads in them that I put along my back and it feels like someone is laying against my back. So I get the safe feeling and don't have to go into my parents room. I've tried warm chocolate milk. It tastes like creamy hot chocolate.

@panda-chan i'm juts not good with milk before bed. It makes me all hyper. Warm or cold.

@meixiaotian I do sleep my dog. Or my cat. Doesn't help.

@izzfred
I dont drink or eat anything before I go to bed or I cant fall asleep then get nightmares. I think you have start that when your younger. But it was my first time tring it on a rainy saturday afternoon.

But try putting a squishy pillow behind your back. It feels like someone is laying against your back. Plus the way I sleep I'm in a cacoon. XD

I just wanna transform into a beautiful butterfly!!!!! Lolz.

@taunter
Hot Chocolate is good.

@izzfred Ummmmmm well sometime when I am not with my parents I like to listen to their wedding song.

What about you and your parents make a secdule
Like at 11:00 your mom comes in and checks on you then at 12:00 your dad comes in and checks on you... So someone comes in your room hourly then if you need ot more often they can come in every thirty minutes ect.

@monchhichi01 when I need my one my parents to come sleep with me if they're busy they'll send me up to my room and check on me when they're done. If i'm asleep they'll leave if i'm awake they'll come and sleep with me.

I have the same problem! My parents sleep with me until they think I'm asleep (this may take while) and then leave.

Well... how long does it take you to fall asleep?
Or maybe you should just have sleepovers more often. Fun and you get to sleep with them!

Omg I didn't notice my posts till now... XD
