A.) Homegrown.

This means that people helped you when you first joined. They showed you around, gave you a few Le's, and maybe some EC. They taught you the rarity of creatures, and basically did everything for you.

2.) Self-Taught.

You joined EC without a clue. You explored alone, and kinda got the gist of it. You often made mistakes, as you had noone to teach you, and had to trade nearly EVERYTHING you have now from SCRATCH. If you did receive help, it was a only a little bit about creature values.

self taught (: I joined during version one and left soon after and rejoined when version 2 started. Due to leaving I missed the tine Dx I remember going to the cave to get a tine everyday and then learning later that it was only for valentines xP

Self taught... I never really talked when I joined, figured out everything on my own. Made me kind shy around new people. Then I found RPing, it was a way to realese my feelings. Then I became more open. Then made hundreds of freinds! 😃

Bought my first CC creature when I was 1-3 days old because right away I knew I didn't want to fill my cove with simply cave creatures. I like having 'status', and right away I knew CC's would 'up' my cove. I also stalked the TA a lot, so I basically have every travel (minus a few). No one has donated anything to me, so I've been building on my own 😊

A bit of both. I got some basic knowledge from a number of people (like @shelby) in my first week but most of my knowledge is from my own exploration. I never got gifted when I was a newbie and even now have only got a few gifts for small favours I have done for a friend. Most of my (still not very good) cove is from my hard work and selling travels.

Self taught. I kind of avoided people way back when I joined, not sure if I wanted to stay or not. Then someone found me (can't remember who. ☹️) and welcomed me. As soon as that happened, I realised that you guys are amazing and worth staying around for. 😉

Picked everything up fairly quickly. Of course, there wasn't exactly a lot to pick up. We didn't have a lot of the features we have now. D:

I was definitely self-taught. When I first came on here there weren't as many LE's, therefore there werent as many LE's being given out lol.

No one really helped me. The only thing I got help with was making a link to a creature. I wasn't very friendly, and there weren't many users on here when I first joined. (I have been on for 2 years and i forgot how many months)
However, I believe it was @elluwah that traded me my very 1st CC creature. It was a rhine
