For the past few months, I feel like my personality has been changing a lot. I'm becoming a darker, more rebellious person. I've been taking a medication to control my anxiety, and I think it may finally be working. One thing that's been hanging in my mind since I was 8 years old is being too overweight. My weight isn't as big of a problem now (with my figure and everything), but I feel really bad about myself and I want 30 pounds to go so that I'll feel and look healthy.I REALLY want this, but I just can't stick to a schedule. My parents work late, so I can't go outside and run around. I walk around town every Wednesday with my friends, I have Gym 2 days in a row at school, and I'm always walking through the halls. THere are too many temptations at my house, though. Processed foods, and a giant tv... And, frankly, my laptop.I'm wondering if anyone can help me out? I know for certain now that I'm an unhealthy weight, and I want to put my full effort in. I just need help sticking to a schedule...

Well when you say "unhealthy weight" what does that mean? Like what's your height and weight? Because I know that for a while I felt fat even though everyone said that I'm really skinny 😊I read somewhere that if you eat on a smaller plate you'll eat less. Also if you don't do anything while eating, and eat slowly, you eat less. Also remember that if you turn most of your fat into muscle and you're still categorized as "overweight" you really aren't 😃

@dreamerDo you have a video game console?I have lost 10 pounds just playing Dance Dance Revolution, back in high school. Now, I have made it a habit of drinking hot tea. It speeds up metabolism whereas cold drink cause the contents of your stomach to congeal and slow down digestion. It also detoxs your body of unhealthy contaminants. Any tea would work really, I have fun trying new flavors. They advertised Wu-Yi tea for weight loss purposes and it works but it's simply based on the hot tea concept.Hope this helps ^.^

@dreamerI have the same problem as you. Exercising is just so hard to schedule! It seems that I can always come up with excuses not to do it. Mostly because it's so painful.I ended up losing 30 pounds in Russia. Due to circumstances, I was walking more than an hour every day. But, for me, it seemed the key was simply eating when I was hungry. Here, in Canada, I eat with my family three times a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. While in Russia, I ate only when I was hungry, which ended up being two small meals a day.Basically, weight loss is tied to food intake and exercise. So, it would be best if you cut the majority of processed foods out of your diet. I had a friend who lost 50 pounds by just cutting out soda pop!I wish you the best of luck!

@Solaris Wow, that makes sense! So should I cut sugary/processed food out of my diet, you know, start slow? A few months ago I cut soda out of my diet and I lost 5 pounds, but I stopped a month later. For now on, I think I'll stop with soda again. Water and fat-free milk is enough. I happen to LOVE water, and love milk. I can cut chips out of my diet too, that should be easy enough. ^^

@dreamerI've suffered the same problem - ish. My weight isn't technically overwrought - but I'm unhappy of how it is.I'm trying to find ways to lose it - like maybe participating in gym xD Or just do small exercises that will help over time 😊

@dreamerI'm in the same position as you. I know that you shouldn't skip meals. It will actually make you keep the weight. Just cut out small stuff like processed foods, sugary treats, and only have fast food as little as possible. I want to lose at least twenty pounds. I did have that weight off when I took MMA, but since I quit last year, I gain thirty, because I eat when I'm emotional and bored. I drop ten when my dad got diabeaties and we had a vegitarian week, a tofu weak, and vegan week. My mom also got a lot of stuff at the farmers market. We stopped that about a month ago, but now we might get back on it. Just eating healthy will help. I have gym everyday, plus I might join a school that teaches hip hop.
