Laura trudged home, her hands and hair caked in blood. She opened her door quietly, and slipped inside. She pulled off her mask, the only place of her body clear of the metalic tasting red.

Storm smirked. Today was just like any other day. Completly covered in blood, she gave a curt nod to her neihbors as she passed, really feeling the need to be alone.

Returning to her respectable home, she walked into her living room, and plopped down into a chair, sighing with pleasure.

Athena gladly padded home unnoticed as a cat. Small and nimble she got to her cousin's house with ease, and morfed into her human form.

Knockng on Storm's door, she patiently waited, pondering what it would be like if she could go to the Academy.

Laura glanced at the murky mirror on the wall, and hissed as she saw Blood face appear. "Good day today, madam?" He asked, glancing at her blood covered body. "Whatever." She growled, her mood shifting as Blood appeared. "Blood, dear. Leave the poor girl alone today." Said Rain. Lauras mood automaticly lightened, the Beast of Sunlight bringing cheer to her heart.

"What now?" Storm seethed, standing up to get the door. Looking through the peephole, Storm saw her cousin, Athena.

Opening the door, she said, "Now is really an awful time."

"Now is really an awful time." Athena heard Storm say. Athena looked up to see her cousin with a irritated glare.

"Sorry..." Athena said, looking at her feet.

"No thanks, sweets." Blood said to Rain. Rains name was strange, for she was a Beast of Sunshine and nice things like that. "So, Terror, my dear. How was your massacare today? How many fatalitys? How much blood was spilled?" He drawled out, a sly tone in his voice. His image was the only clear one in the mirror, for Lauras focus was on him. "Large. Many. A lot." Laura muttered, and turned away from the mirror.

Keepsie trudged home from soccer practice. She looked up as a sudden CRACK filled the air, and barely managed to avoid a chunk of falling concrete. Another super battle. Of course. Didn't they ever think about the damage they did to the city, BEFORE they tossed the villain into a building or threw a car at them or whatever? She squinted, but couldn't make out who was up there fighting. She rolled her eyes, then kept walking.

"C'Mon deary. You know you wana tell." Blood murmered, venturing out of the mirror, like wisps of smoke. "Tell, my little bottle of rage." He formed into a solid mass in front of Laura, and she growled a warning to him.

"Oh my oh my. Ehat do we have here? Certianly is must be a caged dog, howling for a release. To release it feelongs oc hate and terror, for those it has made the sticky warm blood spill over their bodies." Blood said, his face inches from hers. Her eyes full of confusing emotions, her face twisted up into a sneer and she gave him a full blow in the stomach. He fell to the ground, onto his knees, keeling over in pain.

Storm lead Athena to the back door, and handed her an umbrella.

"Why do I need an umbrella?" Athena asked. "Oh you know." Storm said, frowning.

Upon walking outside, Storm snapped her fingers, and a little drizzle began.

Athena squeaked and opened the umbrella. "Why'd you do that?" She asked, slightly miffed.

Storm huffed. "I'm in a rainy mood. Plus I like it." She said irritably.

Laura walked over to Blood, and kicked him hard in the gut again. His eyes widened, and a squeak of pain escaped from his lips. "Settle down there Blood. Your gonna be there awhile." Rain laughed, watching this all happen.
