1) Still pretty strong for a Third Waver...The strongest Third Waver in the book (not counting Keepsie) was able to shoot poo out of his hands. 😋
2) Hidden potential doesn't mean it can get stronger, it means there's something about it that you didn't know but means it's actually more powerful than you think, but not just outright.
Like in the book there was someone who wouldn't ever drop a bar tray, no matter if she tripped, or if all the objects were on one side and she was holding it on the other.
And then it turned out she could lift/throw any object with a flat, metal bottom with ease. Like a car, or a metal bed, or who knows what else.
So it was actually always like that, but she didn't know. Hidden potential doesn't mean it gets stronger, or is stronger in a straightforward way, it's like that 😋
Another character could find out stuff about someone by smelling them. It turned out that if he tasted them - licked them or kissed them - he got way more information about them, and that's also how everyone else figured out their powers' potential. 😋

Power (if any): His powers, although many, are all minor and mainly connected to sound. He has a poorly developed ability of detecting faint noises from a distance(a.k.a. super hearing) and making Ultrasounds and Infrasounds. Mostly, his abilities are producing high frequency sounds (sonic scream) so powerful to the point of being able to destroy small areas.
Appearance: Rather tall, but not overly so. Equilibrium possesses the naturally tanned skin of a Latino and is said to be one too. Dark brown hair, almost black, hanging to his ears in a messy manner, framing sharp features and a pair of opal eyes, colored in all hues of the rainbow. A vaguely hinted muscular frame and vintage clothes. Unlike superheroes, Equilibrium doesn't wear any special clothes except for a blank, noseless mask with two holes for eyes. His outfit consists of T-shirts, plain hoodies, jeans and trainers...
Personality (optional): A cheerful young man, keen on success and determined to excell in life. He'd never plan to become a superhero, or use his powers for that matter. He's filled with a small amount of pride that rarely gets in the way, but once insulted, he wouldn't hesitate to strike back. To outsiders or strangers, he's a bit unwelcoming but would give his life for friends.

If he saved a woman without being part of the Academy, he's a vigilante trying to take justice into his own hands and by doing so, he's a criminal and will be jailed as soon as the Academy captures him 😋 Aka, pretty soon since they're very good at what they do 😋
Then he'll be kept in a cell - designed to keep people in no matter what their power - until he joins the Academy or...I dunno, stays in there for six months as punishment? 😋

@cqpkytty Truth be told, he's not attempting to take justice in his own hands, He has o desire o whatsoever. Just a saviour of ONE single woman, labeled a hero by the press. Therefore, I see no reason for him to be captured.

I didn't say he is attempting to, it's just that in Seventh City it has become illegal to do any hero stuff AT ALL (even ONE SINGLE rescue) without being a hero. Don't be annoyed at me about this, it's from the book 😋

Appearance: Long light brown hair, bright green eyes and on the short side. Tanned, freckled face.
Personality (optional): Developes. Has mood swings often though, and a pretty nasty temper.

The problem is that:
1) Being a Super is very desirable.
2) Pretty much every Third Waver has applied at the Academy. (As in, 99.9% of them. 😋)
3) Third Wavers do have a chance of making it in, it's just that most aren't deemed 'powerful' enough by the Academy.
4) If the Academy likes your power when you apply, you're in.
5) Shapeshifting? Definitely useful. (Except if you could only turn into a platypus...or a tree...or a chair... but that's beside the point 😋)
