Can you survive Disaster Island?

Zix walked into the extra room and thought of a way to make sure the fire wouldn't get too crazy, so she went back outside and started looking for rocks, and more dried leaves.
She hurried over to her shelter when she got enough rocks and leaves she needed and into the extra fire room, put the dried leaves on the ground and put the rocks in a circle on top of it, grabbed the sticks she'd brought and put them into the circle, grabbed the extra rock and her knife then started rubbing the two things together, sparks from the steel flying onto the dried leaves and sticks.

Zix was doing this for a while but a rather large spark emitted from the steel and rock and shot onto the sticks, a small blaze shooting up and into a fire.
She smiled at how much she'd achived already and walked outside, thinking about making a speical door that falls from the roof and covers the hole that allows her to get outside.

Laura finally washed the sand from her face, and turned to examine her surroundings completely. It seemed to be completely... abandoned. She sighed, and shook her head. "Oh all the crazy places to abandon me, they chose a rainforest."

Zix looked around once again and saw there were only a few vines left, she shrugged and walked over to the trees, pulling the vines down and also taking the huge leaves that fell onto the ground, walked back over to her shelter and dropped the materials.
She walked over to the last bamboo stick she had and tied it onto her shelter with the vines, connected more vines to the bamboo stick that hung down and looked around for something very sticky, like glue except coming from a plant.

Zix went into her shelter and opened her backpack, grabbed her booklet and searched for the trees around her, to find if sabling could be found within the solid wood.
She found a picture of a tree that looked like the ones around her and read through it all, but was disappointed to find these trees did not hold sabling, but it did hold fresh water.

Zix shrugged and grabbed her knife and her empty bottle, walked out of the tent and over to a tree, stabbing it deeply with the blade of her knife and not surprising, water poured slowly out of the tree and she quickly put the bottle to where it was coming from and it filled up way faster than Zix imagined it would.

Horses have been released onto the island! They are currently wild and cant be tamed by anyone who hasn't defeated a rare animal, or survived a deadly disaster.

Also the lion has been sighted in the mountains! Panthers have been taken out temporarily so they don't kill off the horses.

Zix quickly gulped up some of the water and sighed with relief, she was getting tired from all of the working.
She put her knife into her pocket and her bottle on the ground, cleaned her hands off with the water pouring from the tree (Which were dirty from touching all of the plants), and picked her bottle back up, put it into her shelter and got an idea.
If she went and found more vines she could connect all of the leaves together to make her door!

Zix walked out of her shelter and started walking out of the clearing to find more vines, pulling all of the vines she sees from the branches down.
After a while of collecting vines, she finally got many vines and walked back to her shelter, and carefully attached all of the leaves she put onto her door with the vines.

An hour later, she finally was done and tested the door, making it go up and down, and Zix was even prouder when it worked fine.

Laura covered her eyes to look up at the sky. The sun was glaring in her eyes, and she saw the outline of a jagged peak.

Already decently soaked and cold, Samuel stood up, having already packed everything back in and hauled the bag onto his shoulders, procceeding in the moist rainforest. The clothes and the light jacket on his shoulders barely prevented him from the freezing cold.

Making his way through slick wet leaves and muddy grounds wasn't the most pleasant experience, but hence his curiosity and inevitable need for water for his dry throat, drove him to strive further. In a while, he found himself trotting out of the swamped area and thankfully onto a clearing where he crouched down under the rain. Producing the waterbottle from his pocket, he extended it up, catching rainwater in the canteen. It was a rather poor way of getting water, since he wasn't exactly sure if the water was clean, but he was in desperate need of it, so all safety precautions flew out the window.

Once sure that there was liqiud in the canteen, he highered it up, pouring the sweet water down his crecked throat. Thankful, he chugged everything down, barely giving himself any time to breathe.

Unexpectedly, the ground beneath his feet shook. Keeping his calm, Samuel stood up, thinking it an earthquake but was rather surprised to see a few dozen horses running his way full speed... In a moment, his instincts reacted and he sprinted in the same direction, backpack already on his shoulders.

Laura smiled, for she knew her way around barren terrains. She started walking towards the mountains, hoping to find real shelter.

Zix was about to walk into her shelter when her stomach suddenly growled loudly, she remembered that she hadn't eaten any food today and knew that the crackers in her bag wouldn't fill her up completely.

She knew there was to be some animals on this island so she took her knife from her jean's pocket and started searching the rainforest for any sign of living creature.
The ground under Zix's feet suddenly started shaking, the sound of dozens of feet hitting the ground at once rang from the left of Zix and she saw dirt flying everywhere and.. horses?

Zix tilted her head confusingly but remembered that horses can also trample you, so she jumped out of the way, watching the horses gallop away with wide eyes.
She was about to turn around back to her shelter but saw a figure running in the same direction of the horses.

Sky heard the slicing of a knife against some sort of wood. She was so hot. She walked into the woods in the direction of the noise. "Hello?" She called.

@albori_piscina28 i'm kind of in a bad spot right now. Sky is now where near anyobyd and i'm trying to make her find the others but nobody is paying any attention.

Sky heard a growl. She looked towards the base of the mountain which she was not too far from. There was a lion standing there. She scurried up the closet tree possible and sat ib a strong, high branch.

Laura was nearing the mountian quickly. She gasped as she saw a magnificent beast, its mane like spun gold. But the only problem was... that its snout was buried deep into the flesh of something.

Tusami wnadered around the island to look for more objects when she spotted a lion. She gasped at its magnificant figure and large golden mane. She started to walk towards it.

Sky saw someone walking towards the lion. "Don't! It's a male! If you get near it it will attack you for being on it's territory!" She called out to the person.

What it is: Volcano eruption
What it means: the mountain has erupted into a volcano!
Hint: Nobody can survive touching lava, breathing to much smoke could kill you, watch out for falling rocks!

Remember this is a deadly disaster. It can not be avoided so you have to post how you survived. This one may require some thought before posting how you survived. But there is a way.

@iceyfira why? Sky can't survive if she doesn't join you guys and she can't randomly show up there and be like "i'm with you!" Saomebody has to notice her.

Sky smelled soke. She looked towards the mountain. There was lava puring down the sides and hige clouds of ash. "I need to find somewhere high off the ground other than a tree. The tree will burn and fall down." She thought as she looked around.

Laura sniffed the air, and coughed. "Smoke..." She murmered, glancing up the mountain. "What?" She growled. There was lava pouring in rivers down the mountain. She grabbed her bag, and started rummaging through it. "A scarf. Great." She pulled it out, and ripped it in half. She used one part to cover her mouth and nose, like a mask. The other half she would keep unless she would really need it.

Laura was running hard, panting. The sulferic acid smoke was making her woozy, and her eyes blurry. She growled, and pulled the other half of the scarf out. She ran to the nearest tree, and started scaling it. She might be able to jump from tree to tree from this lava...

Sky rummaged through through her backpack. A scarf. She ripped it in half and tied one half around her mouth and nose. She climbed a tree She tested something. She tied the other half of the scarf to a tree and put a small rock in it. It didn't break. She yanked on it hard and it came undone. She guessed this would work. Lava was puring underneath the tree. She swung ont he scarf to a different tree. She yanked the scarf once she was on a branch and it came off.

Zix was about to call out to the person but a rather loud explosion rang from where the huge mountain was and she snapped her head over to it.
"I'd better get to my shelter..." thought Zix and she started running as fast as she could to the clearing she built her shelter in, panting.

Zix finally got to her shelter and hurried in, grabbed her bag and blowed out the small fire, going back outside she looked up at the mountains and saw smoke emitting from the top of it and lava pouring down.
She started panicking but felt really bad for having to leave her shelter, Zix made a run for the beach, coughing from the smoke with her eyes wide and her pupils bloodshot.

After what felt like an hour of running, Zix got to the beach and opened her backpack, surprised to see a rather large scarf.
She shook her head and thought of a way to use it. Zix found out why she needed this and covered her mouth with the scarf, watching and waiting.

Tusami survived the volcanoe by using the scarf to cover her eyes and face she relied on her sense on hearing to avoid the bubbling lava and made her way to a spring and made her way into a small under water cave. "The lion would have been a nice idea on how to unt by following his tecniques if I had managed to get near enough to see him clearly." She grumbled to herself.

Lauras chest was heaving, she was coughing heavily. The poisoned air was a bit fresher up in the trees, but she could barely see. Her eyes watery, she tried her best to scale the tree. She managed to get up halfway when it cleared enough for her to get fresh air. She moved the scarf a bit, breathing in the fresh, cold air, still hinted with the smell of sulfer.

He'd been running for about a mile up hill, hence the horse chase, but a good five minutes later, the animals seemed to draw away, turn around and head in the opposite direction as him. Tired to the last extent, Samuel paused a bit, plopping heavily on the ground with a sigh.

If anything, the weather was better...

As if on queue, a deafening explosion penetrated the air, making him screech, covering his ears. A whirl of sensations and feelings engulfed him - his skin burned all of a sudden, as if on fire... his vision blurred and the earth beneath his feet shook uncontrolably.

He obliged enough to somehow waggle away from the unbearable heat, running down the hill again to reach the plains. A calloused hand came up to rubb teary eyes - the smoke had entered his eyes as well, making it impossible to see. After a while, his vision cleared and he looked back, in mid-run, to see what had been the source of everything. A volcano - lava sipped from the mountains, engulfing the very place he'd stood a few minutes ago. Smoke emmited from it too, that's what had nearly sufocated and blinded him. Not bothering to check his backpack for anything, Samuel simply turned on his heels and ran in the opposite direction full speed. He was an agile runner and was sure he'd outrun the lava, albeit having some lung problems. The fiery liqiud was going down into the valley, so he guessed a higher place was required. Sighing a large hill nearby and directed his legs towards it.

Lauras eyes squinted, trying to find a path through the tree tops to get away from the lava. She reached for a branch, catching it, just barely.

Then she jumped.

Laura landed on the nearest branch underneath her, and unfortuanatly suffocatinvgly close to the lava.

Sky was half dead. She couldn't see at all. She felt around for a tree and climbed to the middle of it. "If you get to high the ash levels will kill you but you don't want to be close to the ground." She thought to herself.
