Can you survive Disaster Island?

Laura glanced down at the lava, and banged her head against the tree. "NOW the lave decided to cool?" She hissed.

Already halfway up the hill, Samuel ran full speed ahead, struggling to reach the top before the volcano's lava filled the valley. However, once up to safety, he looked back in victory, only to find an ashen plain of black rocks - the lava had cooled and hardened to make coal... He groaned inwardly.

For a while, he stood there, mouth agape in a hopeless expression. In exasperation, he plopped down, hanging his head.
"GOD'S SAKE!!!" he threw his head back and howled at the sky. His roaring voice echoed all around the area. He had every reason to yell or throw fits - he'd nearly suffocated from the pressure of climbing up a rather steep hill, for absolutely... nothing.

"God, I hate you..." he mumbled, still facing the clouds. Moaning didn't show any signs of getting his somewhere, so he stood up (albeit reluctantly) and aimed to travel towards the cooled lava again, where the horses had chased him. He had left his canteen there somewhere and hoped that the fiery liqiud hadn't covered it before hardening. Along his way, he noticed a small form among the trees... - probably a human? OR it could most probably a carnivorous animal, like a lion (he distinctly remembered seeing one on his horse jogging round). Slowly, he approached, having thoughtfully unpacked his knife and held it in front of himself.

Laura snarled at the ground, and dropped down from the tree. She landed awkwardly, and fell to the ground. She made a small noise when she registered the pain, and bit her lip. "Dont cry. Dont cry." She stood up, rather unsteadily, then leaned against the tree she had jumped down.

Her ankle was sprained. She tended to forget to NOT jump from such heights, she was only a human, not a cat.

What he'd expected to be a vicious carnivorous (and hungry) animal, made a move, skilfully launching itself down the branches and landing with an 'ouch' on the ground, feet first. When said 'animal' awkwardly stumbled up, black hair plastered to it's ashen face, Samuel drew back. A while later, he realized that no lion had sneaker-clad feet or wore any jeans, he mentally cursed (he'd nearly hauled butt, or screamed like a *cough*manly*cough* girl). It was a human of course!

Yet, he still didn't jolt to the human's side- however happy he was to see a living thing of his kind, he still was wary of who it was. Throughout the fifteen minutes he'd been on the island he'd suffered a drough, had nearly been run over by horses and had ended up in a nearly-suffocating-to-death and getting-killed-by-giant-rocks-falling-from-volcano situation. How was he supposed to know that it wasn't an angry native bent on killing him...?

Slowly, he approached, knife still clutched in his hand.
"Are you alright, miss?" he asked, taking his time in inspecting her - she had visibly suffered the eruption to. Inevitably, he noticed her uncanny posture and quickly found the cause - her ankle was bent strangely, as if broken or sprained. Deciding she wouldn't be fast or agile enough if she meant harm, he walked over, regardless on whether she'd asked for his help or not.

Zix waited and waited, starting to get bored.
"Ugh, why do I even try to survive on this stupid piece of... what ever it's made of!" yelled Zix angrily, taking off the scarf and flailed her arms in the air.
She was about to scream, but suddenly a glob of lava pouring down over to where she was yet she wasn't paying attention, she was too busy covering her face.

Zix screeched when she felt a nice, warm liquid under her feet and panicked when she saw it was lava.
"Oh- NO!" screamed Zix, trying to shake off the lava but no avail.

She stopped trying and waited for the lava to burn her feet off yet she didn't feel any burns, but her feet was starting to get very warm.
"What?" Zix said, tilting her head and put her finger into the lava, and she still felt the warm liquid on her feet but on her hand.

Laura glanced up, and frowned. "Dont call me miss. Its to formal. Call me Kinder." She didnt like formal things, and dresses, and girly things like that. She was neither unervered or surprised by seeing another person. "How did you get here anyways?" She glanced down at her ankle, shifting it to try and look as strong as possible. This boy looked like a worthy opponent if it came down to a fight.

Tusami came out of the water cave and pulled off the half scarf and looked around the lava was gone so she came out and walked up to another person. "Hello?" I call out.

Sky heard a scream. "Hello?!!!" She called out although it was muffled because of the scarf over her mouth.

The disaster has completely ended and anything destroyed has been rebuilt. The smoke is gone and the volcano has returned to a mountain.

For surviving a deadly disaster horses are now tamable!

There is also a new type of disaster:

Supernatural: supernatural disasters are random. Their survival and avoiding rate varies. Sometimes they can be fairly normal, or flat out crazy, but all disasters can be survived (somewhat).

Zix shrugged and sighed, walked over to the water and cleaned her hands off quickly before it would become too cold to get it off of her.
She turned around and was surprised to see the lava wasn't there anymore, and the dried lava was gone in the rainforest.

Zix sighed again but with relief and picked up her backpack and started walking back into the rainforest, noticing a few flowers that were famlilar.
She finally got to her clearing and a huge joy filled her when she saw her shelter, completely fine and welcoming.

The lion has returned and has been sighted in a field.

Domestic cats and tamable wolves have been released onto the island!

Wolf- to tame you need a bone and must have built at least a small shelter.

Domestic cat- CAN NOT BE HUNTED. To tame must have built a fishing pole and seen the lion.

Sky went to work building a shelter. She grabbed a few pieces of bamboo and set them up. She stripped a few in string thick stipps and used those to make walls and a roof. She draped palm leaves over the openning in the front and put some rocks all the way around it. She was pretty impressed with herself. Her positive thinking was interupted by a loud roar. She looked over to a field and there was the lion. She quickly darted up a tree and threw a rock at the lion.

Tusami walked into a small desert like area of the island and dug in the sand to find at least something. As she dug she managed to find a bone. "Not much use." she muttered but did'nt mind. As she walked back to her shelter she found the lion again. "Yes!" she yelled out loud and quietly crept towards the lion down-wind of him. When she was close enough she saw he was eating some kind of meat. She studied the mrkings on the mangled carcass and left quitly. She made her way back to her shelter and continued to work on it. She got a stick and got some vines from near-by trees to make a make shift pole of some sort.

Tusami changed the poll and started to sharpen the end "If I can get the lion it will be less of a nuceanse." She muttered to herself and set down the spear and worked on her small flurry of wticks and leaves she called a shelter she strung the leaves with the vines and and soon had a roof onit but no walls she left to find the lion with the spear in hand.
